Bert Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 It's just pathetic. Young is bitter because he doesn't have a job there anymore.
Babylon Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Everyone seems to have an opinion on Ian Stringer and they are all entitled to it. But what is he meant to do this season - be uber positive and say that all is well and Pearson is a genius and our players are legends and the club is doing better-than-ever. He would have even less credibility than he does (in some peoples eyes) if he were to act like that. Quite clearly there is going to be negative content when there are negative results, I'm sure everyone appreciates that. What people don't appreciate is him coming across as a shit stirring weasel.
Russ112112 Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Can't be doing with this bollocks youngy comes out with about haven't got a clue because he never played the game so 99.9 % of us haven't got s clue because we never played the game I think he needs to leave the sauce alone .

Cambiasso actually said something very similar "People always speak," said Cambiasso. "It is free, you don't need to pay to talk about football. "I am a footballer, I don't like to talk about medicine, because I don't know about it, but all people think they know about football. The same people who are now saying 'Leicester is dead'. Maybe not if we win (today). Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Hillarious interview from Youngy, why would you talk about the team after that performance!? Why not bring up an old grudge. He's embarassing and so is that 100% LCFC website.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Jeeze what did I just watch!?!? Has Youngy had one too many...
stix Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Jeeze what did I just watch!?!? Has Youngy had one too many... Wtf was that?!?! He looks like a ravaged alcoholic.
Webbo Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Methinks Alan has been on the sauce. His team looked quite good though.
separator Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Give him a string vest and it could be Rab C Nesbitt picking the team. Definitely looks half cut in that video.
TOMBlcfc Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 We've missed his intellectual tactical insight on RL haven't we? Shows just in that video that they were wrong to sack him, obviously a level headed guy with no drinking problem and not a single bitter bone in his body
Leicesterpool Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Jeeze what did I just watch!?!? Has Youngy had one too many... The poor guy doesn't look well at all, on the tactics himself he might as well say same team as against Newcastle but bringing King instead of James.
talking_goldfish Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 That is one decent team selection, borne out of (at least) one decent drink!
Bettsj2 Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Be good if Radio Leicester could rip the audio of that and every time someone calls up saying 'bring back Youngy', they can just play that to them. Cannot for the life of me imagine why Radio Leicester didnt renew his contract.
Kitchandro Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Cant agree with that at all. Elliot gives a good account of the game and this sitting on the fence thing I just dont get. He gives an opinion on everything he's asked. Because he's objective when he does so, just means its a considered opinion. Just because Alan Young commented as if everything he said was fact, doesnt mean it actually is. Most of what he said often didnt make sense, he contradicted himself at least twice a game and his commentary was unbearable. His goal record for us was really no better than Beckfords and i've spoken to many fans who watched him play and all of them said he was just an average player and cant see where the 'Legend' tag came from. He's a legend in his own mind and he's made a previously listenable fans show (100%LCFC) into an Alan Young ego trip. Elliot is far better imo. Elliott doesn't give an objective, considered opinion though. He doesn't even sit on the fence. He actually sides with footballers and managers, he is unable to dish real criticism when it is warranted. I find that very difficult to listen to. When we've been absolute bobbins for about the 4th week running and I'm on the way home and Elliott is saying stuff like 'so and so probably didn't have his best game but.....' and 'some people have been critical of Pearson but it's easy to say in hindsight', I just want to smash the radio up. I think both Young and Elliott are shite pundits. Though I do like Matt as a bloke and obviously liked him as a player. Youngy isn't a Leicester 'legend' in the strictest sense but in fairness he was a very popular player in his time. He does come across as a moron though and his fanboys are embarrassing.
Leicesterpool Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 I never see the reasons why they can't two pundits on RL have both Youngee and Elliot
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Jeeze what did I just watch!?!? Has Youngy had one too many... The way he blinks at 34 seconds... he must have had a Special Brew bath that morning
Frost Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Think I might have 4:37 as my ringtone Really made me laugh.
Carl the Llama Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Drunken & shouting Alan Young steadying himself against an easel is still more insightful and engaging than Stringer imho. The way he stares dead-eyed into the camera as he spectacularly fails to recall the Ulloa chant was more in-depth analysis than 30 minutes of listening to RL.
