Foxes1 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 So we have won 3 home league games so far this season Clattenburg has refereed 2 of them and given us our only penalties of the season. Can we appeal to the Barclays Premiership panel to have him referee all our remaining games to give us an even better chance of staying up.

Can you imagine what dean's reaction would have been to that incident! At least clattenburg looked genuinely sorry for getting in the way. (A bit over dramatic perhaps)

Westerby Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 With GLT to sort out whether the ball crossed the line, the ref watching the penalty taker and for encroachment into the area, what is there for the assistant to do but ensure the keeper stays on his line? Surely that should not be too arduous for any Premiership standard assistant. When he didn't spot that, but at this stage results are ALL that matters.
