57th minute applause for King

A minutes applause for a player scoring 57 goals? **** sake.

Make sure you don't knock your flask over your half and half scarf while you're at it.

I ****ing hate all this clapping shit, so I'm not agreeing with the OP, but if you read it properly he's suggesting it because it'll be his 300th appearance.

I agree, all this clap takes me back to the 80s. King as a magnificent servant to our club will get the recognition he deserves I'm sure, as others have stated Wednesday is about a wall of intimidating noise, again, and driving our team on to Premiership Survival. COYB

I deserve a minutes applause for being having a massive cock. :chant:

In all seriousness, its incredibly cringey and unnecessary. I really don't understand what you're trying to achieve by doing it.

Ok i get it, just thought 300 games is a good achievement but a minutes applause has kind of lost its meaning because it's done too often

Hope you don't feel dispirited, it's good that fans recognise the players' efforts. I and others were just disagreeing about how we show our appreciation.  :)

The next person to suggest a clap on a certain minute for some obscure reason – I swear I'm going to cut their hands off and use them to make one of these....

Nothing obscure about 300 apps for a player?

How about everybody claps and chants when he comes out at the start and some can maybe hold up banners. No need for all this clapping on a particular minute crap.

I'm sure a "one of our own" chants would mean more to him.

We've got a song that's absolutely fine.

Another Sloop John B rip off isn't necessary.

He's been with us since he was 15...

That's pretty damn close.

I see him as one of our own.

How about everybody claps and chants all game for all the players.

How about 1st minute minus 1. As the team walk out onto the pitch? or 17 to mark the position in the league? or two to indicate how many feet he has?
