foxfanazer Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Settle for that first half. We'll get at them a bit more 2nd half. Spurs sound like they ain't doing the business
Jam Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 It's a battle and we're competing. It isn't pretty but so far it's been effective. I'd take this score at full time. Agreed.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Col will be loving this, Cattermole bossing things and Estaban no where near
FLAN Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 mahrez needs hooking. Half hearted effort and his free kicks are shameful. He's a 1 in 5 games performer
ScouseFox Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 This is why Pearson cannot take the club forward. We're taking the piss at home yet as soon as there's an away game against some shit side we let them do exactly what they like. We're a much better team than them, if we gave our forward players something to feed on and our midfielders some options in the middle we'd beat these easily. I've been saying it all season, the only thing that can relegate us is fear and it's still true now. Just fvcking get at them and be positive FFS. Stop letting them have the ball and out high balls in, close them down and they have no quality whatsoever. Shooting ourselves in the foot once again. didn't you say this almost word for word at half time in both our last two away wins?
Kitchandro Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Tension or what? Sunderland appear to have done their homework on our boys. Might be worth giving Kramaric a go to shake it up a little. Sunderland are clueless. They're stronger than our strikers, that's all. We're not giving them anything to worry about because we're not attacking with any purpose.
NewquayFox Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Seems ages since we last had a 0.0 at half time.... Can see Cattermole getting a red if he carries on.... Up the City...
The Doctor Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Obviously sunderland are going for it - away to arsenal and Chelsea to end the season, if they're not safe come full time they're relying on qpr/West Ham/Man Utd to win next week. They'll tire and clattermole will be sent off soon enough, we need to weather then hit on the break. I'm feeling a last minute Wasyl winner in my bones.
Monk Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 City Fans sound quiet today ??? In fact the whole crowd is quiet Haven't stopped all half. Lots of Adam Johnson Paedo songs
EGBFitness Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 What does everyone expect? Survival match, Sunderland will see us as their last winnable game before they play Liverpool or whoever it is they need to play and Chelsea, we have dealt with the pressure well so far. Will be happy for a draw at full time and hopefully Hull lose anyways. Will keep things how they are and hopefully fresh legs with 20 mins to go on a fatigued Sunderland will put them more on back foot and hopefully nick us the win.

Swiper Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Just out of interest which foreign chanels apart from setanta ireland are showing the game? NBC Sports here in the U.S. but it's sort of swinging coverage--- LCFC/SUN is the default game, but they switch it to the other games if anything "dramatic" happens.

We looked most vulnerable in the first fifteen minutes when everytime we got near their halfway line the whole team was pouring forward, both wing-backs, both centre-mids, and Sunderland were getting their strikers right up against our centre-backs. Pearson, unlike you, has noticed this and has been barking at them to reign it in throughout the first half and as a result we got our foot on the ball and probably shaded the last 15 minutes of the half. You can't just throw everything forward and expect to score goal after goal, as other people have said Sunderland are defending deep and stretching the gaps between our lines. At one point I saw Cambiasso haring down their left-back, that is not the way to win this game.
Guest Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Kasper made 2 great saves. Defence is doing well, midfield a bit overrun. Mahrez not got going and Vardy has been very quiet. Ulloa doing okay though. Albrighton playing well.
davieG Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Forgot king was playing He's the only one not giving the ball away.
zak_lcfc Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Just need to settle second half, they're pressing and nullifying Vardy but hopefully they tire and with Cattermoles yellow card he can't afford to be as aggressive! We can do this, come on you Foxes!

Get off your soap box, we're away in a relegation scrap what exactly did you expect? That we would walk in and piss it? It was always going to be like this, Sunderland know that they will not be able to beat us by playing football, we all came to that conclusion last week so they are doing exactly the opposite. It's 0-0, they haven't massively threatened bar one or two chances, we're still in it.
Unabomber Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 He's the only one not giving the ball away. Yeah this.
MC Prussian Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 didn't you say this almost word for word at half time in both our last two away wins? Kitchandro in Copy 'n Paste shocker. He just has that statement saved somewhere on his PC and always brings it up as some sort of last resort.

It's a relegation battle at the end of the season not a wide open mid season free-for-all. Shoot yourself in the foot and stop fvcking whinging about every single thing. 6 wins in 7 and you're still not happy. I imagine if you got a BJ from Rachel Riley you'd still moan that she hadn't used enough spit.
