fleckneymike Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Up till this point everyone had played a significant role in the run in Wes had assisted Ulloa Ulloa scored Vardy had ran riot Nuge bagged at WBA King has a brace Cambiasso kicked it off v QPR Huth registered at WBA Albrighton scored and assisted Schlupp maintained his form Mahrez scored against Southampton] Was has been Was and set up Huth against WBA Schmeical made crucial saves (esp against Swansea) yet for all his class and compsure (and cross to Vardy who miss hit to King to score the winner against West Ham) he'd not had that defining moment that the rest of the players had, he felt seperate from the escape. That goal today (and a tidy finish it was too) is hopefully a sign of things to come. (still think the blue shorts are shite)
copunk Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 So happy for him, is gonna play a massive part for us next season, can see him bagging 15+
TOMBlcfc Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Agree with the whole post except for the bit about the shorts
AKCJ Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 I know everyone keeps saying it, but I really do have high hopes for him next season. I think he's got it and I think he'll be like De Gea when he first came to England. He's shown flashes of brilliance that have been covered up by his lack of physicality.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 He will be an integral part of our europa league push.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 My only criticism of him is he shoots from silly angles sometimes rather than put the ball across the six yard box.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Got a beauty of a right foot, but his left is for standing only. If anything holds him back from being a real success at the highest level it'll be that left foot because his right has a bit of class in it.
TrentFox Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 He took it well. Ulloa worked so hard to make it a ball that wasn't easy to clear.
Harry - LCFC Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Everyone appears to acknowledge the guy's promise and expect to see him do well next season. What was a short term gamble at the time now seems like it'll turn out to be an effective long term investment!
Foxymcoxy Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 He looks noticeably fitter already Cannot wait to see what he's capable after a full pre-season fitness regime with us because you can already see his quality with the ball.
Leicesterpool Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Could be vital to him, not quite settled in as quickly as he would've have liked but ending the season with a goal will be a massive boost for him.
NewburyFox Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 He's clearly technically top draw and a finisher, my concern is where will he fit in the starting XI next season? If we continue with this 3-4-1-2 then that leaves two striker spots to fill, as that 1 should be an attacking midfielder and not a striker dropping deep. For the two strikers, you've got Vardy who causes havoc up top with his running, creates numerous chances for others and who you'd expect to score more next season if his second season in the Championship is anything to go by, and Ulloa as the physical presence who holds the ball up, brings others into play and can score double figures in this league. Who do you stick on the bench for Kramaric? It's an interesting puzzle for Nigel to solve next season.

While I think Kramaric has the potential to be our best striker, he needs game time to get to that level. I think Vardy is a no-brainer, so do you pair him with Kram in the hope he gets better, or stick with the tried and tested Ulloa/Nuge?
FOXES-BROWNBOY Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 evidence of quality just needs game time and confidence
fazzyfox Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 I'm a believer that just by having him on the bench it ups the performance level of those who do get selected to start up front. They train with him every day and know that Pearson knows how good he is, I'm sure the intense competition for places drives up performances of others. I don't think he's done much wrong when he has played, often up on his own and should have won a pen vs Man City.
Finnegan Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Seems a bit slow. Be patient. Our clubs fitness team is the craziest I've ever seen. The transformations of Vardy and Albrighton particularly were terrifying.
Corky Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Good finish today, think he'll have a big season next year.
Monk Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 He needs to have a very good close season to make the cut next time around. Has seemed lightweight and determined to take on too many defenders every time he gets the ball, and Fez is right, slow, at least compared to Vardy who he usually replaces.
Finnegan Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 He's a much different player to Vardy. He's got much better touch, vision and shooting on the whole than Vardy. Vardy's a much better athlete but I still think Kramaric will have a big future. Looking forward to seeing him next year. I'd personally play him in the hole Mahrez has occupied recently.

At the beginning of the season there was some what of an out cry that we spent to much for a championship striker (Ulloa) and having Nugent and Vardy as our options. This strike force with addition of Krameric is now one of the most potent in the Premier League. I would be happy with these guys going into next season, but I reckon we will add to the competition at the top of the formation. Maybe someone to compete with Mahrez to play in the hole or have Vardy move there.
