Soar Fox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 As you say, fvckin' surreal. But what I would love to know (can't be ar$ed to work it out to be honest) is how much the top five teams' PL squads have cost. Ours can't be more than £40 million (including Kramaric and Inler who don't get a game), whereas all of the other four have squads that cost hundreds of millions. That fact is even more surreal. Arsenal's starting 11 yesterday cost £145. Man city starting 11 yesterday cost £253 Our starting 11 on Saturday cost £14.5
Captain... Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Arsenal's starting 11 yesterday cost £145. Man city starting 11 yesterday cost £253 Our starting 11 on Saturday cost £14.5 Something seems not quite right about those figures... mmm... I just can't put my finger on what.

RowlattsFox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Only reason I can see Swansea sacking Monk is if they want Rodgers back and they think he will come back. Debateable whether that's a good decision but its a poor way to treat Monk, who is club legend as well.

Soar Fox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Something seems not quite right about those figures... mmm... I just can't put my finger on what. Many pound notes by all 3 clubs.
Wycombe Fox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Just some stats for City from previous years; 2008/09 League 1 Championship winning year - after 12 games we had 25 points (4th place at the time). 2013/14 Championship winning year - after 12 games we had 26 points (3rd place at the time). I've had a little punt on us at 225/1
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Michu leaves Swansea, sad really. Could've been a top player if he hadn't have been plagued with injuries for the past two years
Captain... Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Michu leaves Swansea, sad really. Could've been a top player if he hadn't have been plagued with injuries for the past two years Meh, I still don't really understand what happened, but I always thought there was more too it than just injuries, there were a lot of odd statements coming out about him never playing for them again, the impression I got was he was acting all billy big bollocks and tried to engineer a move or get more money out them and it all went tits up for him. He had one season, but what a season.
AKCJ Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Can't believe the BBC are reporting rumours of Monk about to be sacked. Sacking Gary Monk is utter short termism. They've sold their best players and were always going to struggle to hit the heights. You wonder where Monk would go from there. Went onto a Swansea forum earlier to gauge opinions and they absolutely hate Bafetimbi Gomis.Machu = Spanish Harry Kane.

He had one season, but what a season. Yeah, I always got the impression it all went tits up with him and the board when Laudrup got sacked. He was frequently unfit when he went off to Napoli too and it looks like he's going to sign for his brother in the Spanish 4 tier, what a career trajectory. Spanish cap to 4th tier in the matter of two years
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Payet out for 3 months apparently. Big blow for West Ham!
Fox92 Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Loved watching Michu in his first season here. Some of his goals were superb but his technical ability was brilliant too.
Guest Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Payet out for 3 months apparently. Big blow for West Ham! Well that makes West Ham average.
foxfanazer Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Well that makes West Ham average.People will say the same of us if Mahrez or Vardy get injured
Guest Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 People will say the same of us if Mahrez or Vardy get injured Average is around 10th - I'd be happy with that tbh.

MC Prussian Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 A private American equity company buys 25% of Bournemouth AFC's stakes. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34765666

goose2010 Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Payet out for 3 months for West Ham, massive blow for them, will be intresting to see how they react as that would be like us losing mahrez
ARTY_FOX Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Hard to replace a player of that quality. He's his own highlight reel
les-tah Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Payet out for 3 months for West Ham, massive blow for them, will be intresting to see how they react as that would be like us losing mahrez Massive blow.. We need a player like payet in between centre mid and vardy
Buzzell Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Couldn't imagine losing Mahrez or Vardy at this point of the season. Would be horrendous.
Footballwipe Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 Couldn't imagine losing Mahrez or Vardy at this point of the season. Would be horrendous. I think the way 29,000 people simultaneously shit themselves when Vardy went down injured on Saturday says we all realise how bad it would be!
