MooseBreath Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 If I was the claudster I'd think on a cheeky £10m bid for Ighalo in Jan
NewburyFox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We have been lucky with injuries to an extent hence our good run - hopefully its maintained with a tough run of games to come (Sunderland/Chelsea away) and Liverpool, Spurs and Man City home... Depends how much of it you put down to luck. We rarely get soft tissues injuries and haven't for years thanks to the sports science team, so our lack of injuries definitely isn't luck. Then you see the ridiculous number of injuries that Man Utd and Arsenal get and you have to question if they are doing everything they could be doing off the field.
Super_horns Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Good point - apart from Abdi (foot) and Ekstrand (ACL) we've not had many long term injuries since the Pozzos came. We probably spend our money on fitness and sport science teams rather than agents and PR gurus for the players..
MooseBreath Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Schweinsteiger with his filthy fouling in the box at a corner antics again today, just like last week. What a thrilling addition to the premier league he has been. Germany can keep their 80p season tickets if that's the best they can produce.

I doubt he represents German football... he is past it, not the player he was when at Munich

Dan Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 If I was the claudster I'd think on a cheeky £10m bid for Ighalo in Jan Said the exact same although given the nature of the league I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted double that. He's a class player who I think would suit us to a tee. We really are over-shadowing Watford. They're doing exceptionally well. All the big boys bar Arsenal showing their major flaws today. Man Utd in yet another insomnia cure, Man City continue to fall to pieces defensively without Kompany, Tottenham drop points when they shouldn't and Chelsea continue being the laughing stock of Europe. I see no such flaws in Leicester's team, other than set pieces - and I'd not say that is as big a problem as any of these have. Do not under-estimate how good this Leicester side is. We should be sick if we don't get into Europe at least. It's the best chance ever.
foxfanazer Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Can't help but be impressed by Watford. Ighalo is a real player
ScouseFox Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 just watching motd from yesterday. jonny evans played in midfield for west brom. JONNY EVANS IN MIDFIELD. I'd rather die than watch that every week.
Simmo86 Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 What final position gets you into Europe 6th or 7th?
MC Prussian Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 What final position gets you into Europe 6th or 7th? 5th. Although there's the fairplay rule that allows for another PL team to qualify (at an earlier stage), I think.
Fox92 Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Managers annoy me when they moan about the amount of fixtures. Pellegrini "it's too many games for the same players"... how about not bothering with Europe then? That'll ease your fixture list.
tom27111 Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 5th. Although there's the fairplay rule that allows for another PL team to qualify (at an earlier stage), I think. If a team in the top 5 wins the league cup or the fa cup, the designated European place then gets allocated to 6th and 7th in the league.
foxfanazer Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 How did West Ham not win that game? United are dire
Leicesterpool Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Liverpool face Newcastle today, just can see Liverpool crushing them. Got 0-5 bet on for Liverpool to win.
Corky Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 just watching motd from yesterday. jonny evans played in midfield for west brom. JONNY EVANS IN MIDFIELD. I'd rather die than watch that every week. Pulis will put out an entire team of centre backs one day.
Kitchandro Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 If I was the claudster I'd think on a cheeky £10m bid for Ighalo in Jan Was thinking that myself.
MPH Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Found this description to the game just about to start quite amusing.. .
AyewJoking Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 about 90% sure diego costa is a well trained chimp
Footballwipe Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Managers annoy me when they moan about the amount of fixtures. Pellegrini "it's too many games for the same players"... how about not bothering with Europe then? That'll ease your fixture list. Like Southampton and West Ham, they should get themselves knocked out of Europe so they can focus on the league to win it and... errr... qualify for Europe
Dan Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 What has happened to Southampton? I had a feeling Villa would get something from that.
