Shitty Europe?

Would have thought that was a good reason not to go, unless he wants to live in London

I can't see why he would go to West Ham

I think they wanted to sign him last summer but wanted him on trial first and he found that insulting so turned them down.... i'd be surprised if he went there, to be honest....

My mate is a barber and he reckons he had Esteban in today and said it was all agreed, just waiting for the squad to get back and should be announced next week sometime.

Is your mate a barber that specialises in bald men?

Fvck me, this is getting embarrassing. Cambiasso's brother's lawyer mate following West Ham means Esteban is going there?! Jesus Christ. Sometimes I hate social media.

You lost me at "barber".

And In Manchester?

Look, whatever happens, the man had one great season here, was instrumental in us staying up. We'd probably be playing championship football again without him. I'd be pissed off if he went to another English club, but I can't hate someone who put 100% for us when he could've gone off to Qatar or the US last season for a massive cheque.

He certainly won't be getting booed by me if returns with another English club.

I think what's happened is that he's been offered a deal, but it doesn't meet his expectations financially possibly? But the club haven't budged yet?

Perhaps he just doesn't want preseason

Perhaps he's just wanting a better deal, although excellent sources said deal was agreed under NP, who was then suddenly sacked and he just wanted to see

Perhaps he wants to be wanted, this is what swung him towards us last summer, our unrelenting chase, and maybe Ranieri hasn't made contact with him yet, so as interest by the likes of Besiktas

Anyway, we need to replace him whether he stays or not. Gerrard 2 seasons ago was immense, while last season at 35 was a total passenger.

He played absolutely awesome in the final quarter of the season and played a key part in keeping us up as did the whole team, before then though he was much of a muchness apart from an occasional great pass.

I won't be so peeved to see him join Besiktas, Juve or others.

I don't like him stringing along the fans who worship him though, it would be easy for him to thank the fans & club and talk about another new challenge though

Him leaving would say more about his opinion of Ranieri than the lure of a supposed 'new challenge' though

No it wouldn't? He was offered a contract whilst Pearson was still here, what does that say about him?

He'd actually agreed while Pearson was here, brother (agent) and lawyer not her and the next minute Pearson sacked out of the blue.

The next word from his camp was he'll wait to see who the new manager is, well he knows Ranieri as well as anyone, so Cambiasso signing or not will be a good indicator

I'm not bothered anyway, we can't afford 3/4 of a season of averageness again and he's obviously got no respect for fans other than taking applause on match day, otherwise he wouldn't be stringing them along

This is probably the most sensible post in this off season. I salute you!!

No one player is bigger than the club!!!. ...

Nobody has said he is. We want him to sign because he's a great player. I doubt he's holding the club to ransome or giving them ridiculous demands either.
