Kitchandro Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Apparently Nuge was sent home from Thailand early, pissed the Thai's off as well, on his way out? Simpson first please. His crime is far worse than anything else we've heard about our players in Thailand and it's a disgrace he's still on our books.
Bettsj2 Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 £150 mill bid for messi next to fill the nuge/mahrez roll damn the expense Need to keep a bit of realism here. We'd need to bid at least £200m. GET IT DONE TOPPEH LAD!!
Guest MattP Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Going to be a hell of a fight for that one place up front
psychonaut Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 WTF??!! Maybe our set up is a little more like Saint/Swans than we thought. Surely someone would have to make room
KFS Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 It was obvious in the end of season run but still looks like we're ignoring the fact we are at our best with pace up front, Austin and Ulloa are both slow movers and won't work. Austin is Nugent on steroids. I'd love to see Austin and Vardy up top, but that leaves Kramaric, Ulloa and Okazaki... This is madness
Dan Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 What on earth is going on? I cannot see the logic behind this.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 There are bigger clubs than us after him, i'd doubt we'd be his preferred choice.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Anyone else expecting Vichai and Pearson to appear arm in arm on the OS soon saying "July Fools", the Thai version of April fools. That's a photoshop gig if ever I've seen one
Grey Fox Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Austin is a player I would like here. But only if the manager wanted him. The concerning thing about this news for me is that it suggests that the owners are now picking the team? Maybe I am wrong (hopefully) because that never seems to work well if they were.
adam Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Vardy to Villa for 15m then Austin to us for 15m. Id take that!!
tom_kettering Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 If Hiddink is coming in, remember he likes playing a 433. This explains the mass of strikers. Either that or Top thinks if we buy all the strikers, nobody else will have any. Good plan.
jimmeh Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Goes to show that pearson had very little to do with transfers. It's basically Steve Walsh and director of footbfooball
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Don't know how true this is but I live in Preston atm and a lot of pne fans have said there's rumours nugent might be going to them either on loan or transfer
RowlattsFox Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Sky sources are about as reliable as twitter sometimes. I'm not having we've bid for him, I'm going for agent making up a story to make someone else bid around that figure. People were beginning to forget about Charlie Austin. I know its the climate we're in but £12m for a striker with one good season in the premier league is ridiculous.

shailen Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 You can never have too many good strikers but if we get Austin, surely we have too many good strikers. Rather we spend the money else where tbh.
NeilLCFC Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Wtf is going on at the KP?! Would take him for sure even if it's another forward
Stevosevic Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 There have been rumours about Ulloa leaving as well.
Guest MattP Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Maybe we are approaching Kevin Keegan or Ossie Ardilles.
lgfualol Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 He can't replace Nugent, that's like replacing Hamer with Begovic. Too stacked. I thought he wanted to stay in London anyways.
