foxes_rule1978 Posted 18 February 2016 Posted 18 February 2016 Teams that have conceded more than 1 goal in a European away game against Midtjylland since 2008: Bangor City The New Saints Man United Lmfao... and we will ruin it for English clubs in Europe, I'm certain we would have battered these with our reserves
Corky Posted 18 February 2016 Posted 18 February 2016 Man United will still get through but it's lovely how Van Gaal is making their fans suffer.
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 February 2016 Posted 18 February 2016 The clowns that went out and signed Van Gaal as United's manager, paid him a kings ransom and then allowed him to spend a quarter of a billion quid should be hung out to dry. What a fookin mistake that was. The shame of it is, in football, in won't matter. They'll all just go on their merry way. A club that was run superbly for decades has become a parody of itself. Sir Alex, the wily old fox, knew exactly the right time to get out.
Wymsey Posted 18 February 2016 Posted 18 February 2016 Don't understand Van Gaal's style of play/system. Whatever it is, it's drab; Ferguson looked bored whenever he's seen in the stands on TV. Pretty sure Van Gaal has never been out on the touchline during his tenure, during games.

Sir Alex, the wily old fox, knew exactly the right time to get out. I've said all along he knew exactly what he was doing by getting out when he did. Moyes made a pigs ear of it but they were always going to slide. Most of their best players were ageing, they had a big re-building job around that time. Man Utd won the Premier League that season but it was a poor Premier League, a lot of the top sides nowhere near at their best again. I honestly do think it's hit the stage where LVG has outdone Moyes in terms of underperforming now though. I'd go as far as saying they should have won the league this season but they've been pathetic all the way through. One step forward, two back all the time. No variety in their midfield, criminal lack of options up front, even their defence was only performing due to negative football and has since been exposed once they've been forced into attacking. They're a complete wreck of a side and tonight couldn't prove it any more.

They're all too slow with and without the ball. 60% possession is easy to defend against if the ball is being passed around in straight lines
Jattdogg Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 Even if he makes it to seasons end there is no way he will be back next season. IMO he has lost the team, fans and the board wont be too far behind. I think his public comments in response to being sacked or being shite dont put him in a great light. It was always going to be a tough rebuild at united but after spending that much theres just no excuses he can use. Go retire and enjoy your money. You're not cut out for the job LVG. Let giggs run the team to seasons end (cant do any worse) and line up the replacement
Samilktray Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 We had scouts at the Yanited game last night watching Midgetland's Sisto
goose2010 Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 and the pundits think Man United will catch us if I was a united fan I think I would actually give up until LVH has been sacked!
Guest Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 Alli proves again what a nasty piece of work he is. Pretty sure he'll get a red card at the euros.

They're all too slow with and without the ball. 60% possession is easy to defend against if the ball is being passed around in straight lines Man Utd had about 68% of the ball against us, didn't make a single pass in our box, and created two chances all game through poor Leicester marking. They're incredibly ordinary. I'd fancy us to win there right now. Martial is a good talent, no doubt about that but you can't help but feel he'd flourish elsewhere. Look at Di Maria. If Man Utd don't turn around this tie I think LVG will be out a week from now (assuming they play them again on Thursday)
purpleronnie Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 I wonder what odds I could get on Man Utd progressing the furthest out of the last remaining 3 english clubs. Got a funny feeling.
ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 augsburg fans causing a stir in libpool all afternoon. police and media and everyone seems perfectly happy and jovial allowing them to drink in the roads, gather in thousands, even piss everywhere. imagine if english football fans did that...

Shame most English fans don't behave like that abroad.
ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 i wasn't really on about abroad. they're not really doing anything wrong, just drinking in the streets and pissing in the streets, hardly major crimes. but the police reaction if three thousand of us went to anfield and starting doing that around liverpool city centre would be a little different to standing back and chuckling whilst the local press report it as "football fans here to have fun", don't you think?

I don't understand police at football games a couple of years ago when we played Leeds down here there was about 500 Leeds fans outside the holiday inn express drinking in the street and singing racist songs. The police were stood around them and done nothing. Football fans are treated like shite whenever you go to an away game, so it's good to that the Ausburg fans are being let to have a good time. I can't wait for next season when we are playing Barcelona away and the Spanish police are trying to move Bernie on.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Jaspa Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 How on earth is that an intentional hand ball? His hand is up there but he gets bumped by his own man and flails naturally to regain balance
RowlattsFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Been in Liverpool today. Beer cans everywhere.
purpleronnie Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Been in Liverpool today. Beer cans everywhere. Giro day?
foxes161 Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Been in Liverpool today. Beer cans everywhere. that's normal for a week day?
ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 the job van gaal's done at united gets funnier and funnier every time he names a starting line up.
shen Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Sisto with another fine goal. Two goals against Man Utd pretty much guarantees a move this summer barring another serious injury.
