Buce Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 A piece in today's Guardian says he's not only top scorer, he has had most shots on target, created most chances, and made more tackles than any other Premiership striker. Only second in touches inside the penalty area, though (Sanchez has one more).

Guest Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 And here's the link for anyone interested. Good read for Leicester fans. Some teams won't even have a 9 goal scorer in the prem this season.
Buce Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 And here's the link for anyone interested. Thanks for that. It wasn't an oversight - I posted from my phone, and I can't link from the app.
AKCJ Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 He is experimenting with players, he has settled on his formation, rightly or wrongly, we have played that way through qualification and too much chopping and changing isn't good for the team, especially when they have limited time together. Again rightly or wrongly he is trying to find like for like players for his formation, which is why Vardy doesn't fit in as the spearhead o the attack, he can't play up front on his own, he needs players round him, but he will get up quickly to support the front man and also track back and defend which is why Hodgson thinks he can play as the wide forward, but it hasn't looked great so far. But he's not experimenting with the players. Like I said, he's only played Rooney and Kane in the striker role in the 4-3-3.

Didn't he replace Rooney with Vardy for his debut in the centre of the park? Not that I'm saying that 15 minutes counts as experimenting, I'm just checking I'm not losing it.

SecretPro Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 He loves Claudio http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-news-Striker-Jamie-Vardy-granted/story-28019886-detail/story.html
AKCJ Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 I love how much the club has stuck by him. This weak, unconfident and somewhat untalented lad whose signing appeared to be a bit of a punt. We've backed him all the way (well, almost) and he's now an international and the top scorer in the Premier League. It's a remarkable story and long may it continue.

ealingfox Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 Let's not pretend his head won't be turned by a bigger Club coming in for him though. Our saving grace is that they will likely be too snobbish to spend the required amount on him at 29.
SecretPro Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 Does anyone actually read that shitrag? Like literally anyone? In Britain?
filbertstreet Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 Let's not pretend his head won't be turned by a bigger Club coming in for him though. don't think forest can afford his wages
The Horse's Mouth Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 I'd be surprised if he went, if he did it would be nothing but a sideways move
Captain... Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 That is just pathetic from the Mirror, the problem is it is shit like this that gets transfer rumours going and speculation starts flying and then people think he might be unsettled and might be open to a move. Does my head, 2 non quotes turn into Vardy considering his future in the summer!!!

Fox 4 Life Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 Vardy saying he hopes he has repaid our gamble on him turns in to he wants to leave as he doesn't owe us anything more. Seriously who signs off on these stories, bunch of *****! When is his contract up?
