Oxfordfox83 Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Got to be Vardy or de Bruyne I reckon. It's really close-I wonder if either of them plays for a top 4 club... Ah...
Buce Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Brilliant write-up from Ian Wright: http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34611895
Andy King Power Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Anyone get the impression vardy will be one of those to blow his millions in a few years after he retires can't exactly imagine him being careful with his money He may look like the sort, but if anything, I think he'd be one that would be very careful with it. Considering he was only on 30 pounds a week or something like that, I think he knows the true value of money.

Considering he was only on 30 pounds a week or something like that, I think he knows the true value of money. If I went from £30 p/w to £30k p/w then I would very quickly forget the "true value" of money.

jimmeh Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 But he has a partner and child as well, which you'd expect would make him somewhat more cautious. So did John Hartson though
promised land Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 The sooner Roy ****s off the better. Should've gone after the World Cup, but the FA didn't have any balls. 10 games and 10 wins but the first proper side they face competitively they'll be back to normal service.
richardsfoxes Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 To right, ive said it before give it to someone younger and hungrier for it Hodson just collecting his last pay check. Pard's for me, English and has passion.Knowing the English FA they will probably recruit Gary Neville fml.

Wymsey Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Trying to think of players, apart from Vardy, who have/had risen from non-league to PL. Can only think of Chris Smalling.
lgfualol Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Trying to think of players, apart from Vardy, who have/had risen from non-league to PL. Can only think of Chris Smalling. Charlie Austin last year, Bolasie, Ashley Williams. I think there is a few more.
TJB-fox Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Charlie Austin last year, Bolasie, Ashley Williams. I think there is a few more.Craig Dawson, Joe Hart, Callum Wilson, Dwight Gayle, pretty sure Lee Tomlin used to play non league too
Aus Fox Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 Sir Les, Ian Wright, Stuart Pearce, Vinny Jones, jermain Beckford spring to mind, lots of players make it from non league to the highest level. You could make a pretty good team since the start of the premier league of players who have gone from non league to premier league.
Sampson Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 Tbf it's a bit different to just ask who played at PL level and who was PL quality. Beckford obviously played at PL level, but he was only a very good League One quality striker who always looked way out of depth at Championship and Premier League level.
davieG Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 This guy: If him and Taylor had stayed around they'd have had a chance of taking a PL team to none league level.
Stevosevic Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 Surely he gets the POTM award for October this month? He has 4 in 3 games again, that has lead us to 7 points. Norwich 1-2 Leicester (1 goal) Soton 2-2 Leicester (2 goals) Leicester 1-0 Palace (1 goal) Has anyone else done anything of note in these game weeks? A goal next week will surely land it?

Reckon Sanchez will get it.
MC Prussian Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 Is it two more games with a goal each and he's equalled a top-flight/Premier League record for most consecutive games with a goal scored? Van Nistelrooy is No. 1 with 10, I think. Ian Wright mentioned the stats in his recent article on Vardy, if I'm not mistaken.
