Vardy and England

Reckon Sanchez will get it.

What are his stats like for the 3 games?

I know it's not the only thing to consider but that's how this award is usually decided by the panel (unless you play for Man United)

One for the stattos...has Vardy ever scored from outside the box for us? All I can think is Middlesbrough away last season but I think that may have just been inside?

If I'm being very critical maybe his long range shooting could improve (please don't pounce on me for that comment!)

Was the winner against West Brom outside the box? Can't remember.

Is it two more games with a goal each and he's equalled a top-flight/Premier League record for most consecutive games with a goal scored?

Van Nistelrooy is No. 1 with 10, I think. Ian Wright mentioned the stats in his recent article on Vardy, if I'm not mistaken.

Doesn't it just feel set up that potentially number 11 for Vardy comes against Van Nistelrooy's old club.

Surely he gets the POTM award for October this month? He has 4 in 3 games again, that has lead us to 7 points.

Norwich 1-2 Leicester (1 goal)

Soton 2-2 Leicester (2 goals)

Leicester 1-0 Palace (1 goal)

Has anyone else done anything of note in these game weeks?

A goal next week will surely land it?

Kane scored a hat-trick against a non-league team. Nailed on.

Just one game he needs to be given free reign in his natural position and show what he can do. If he doesn't show anything in that game then do what you want Roy but please don't make out he's been given a fair go yet

Kane or that Wijnaldum I bet. Reason: theyre both not Jamie Vardy

Because they play for big clubs... *rolls eyeballs*

Walcott and the Ox to miss the french and Spanish friendlies

What a player this guy is! 8 goals in 8 and playing with a fractured wrist!

The end of last season he played with a foot injury as well!

Take a bow Jamie!

Just had an incredible six months of football. His contribution at the end of last season shouldn't be forgotten.
