Kitchandro Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Id rather pay 490 million for sterling than 35 mill for stones but each to their own. one is a ridiculously good, world class talent already and one has played a season and a bit for Everton and "looked classy" but riddled with errors. They are miles apart in terms of quality. Stones might go on to be quality but I don't know what the world is wanking over just yet. Everyone seems to have just unanimously agreed to give him an easy ride for some reason. Even on motd when he went sliding off the screen like an idiot vs Watford they simply chuckled and said it was something he'd have to stop doing in the future or something, not even mentioning he'd cost his team a goal and two points. Just strikes me as odd that we in the most part seem to want to hate any youngster at a big club but any at a slightly lower level, even though clearly worse are gods amongst people. Sterling is fvcking well overrated. (Not awful though I might add).
cambridgefox Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Aidan McGeady Gareth Barry Mignolet Tim Howard Adam Johnson Younes Kaboul Danny Graham Harry Kane Lamela Kyle Walker Phil Jones Papis Cisse Cheik Tiote Ricky Lambert Harry Kane is on fire .2 goals I reckon since he put 3 past us in MARCH.Thats probably 1 in 6
ScouseFox Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Sterling is fvcking well overrated. (Not awful though I might add). by who? i don't think I've read anyone say he's any good for about 18 months

Sterling is definitely not "ridiculously good and a world class talent already". Have a word scouse, come on..
EnderbyFox Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Danny Graham has gotta be one of the worst premier league players in history
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 I'd say Sterling is a world class talent. We as a nation don't half moan when we overhype players but we love bringing them down and casting them off too, don't we. It's one extreme or another with English players. The past twelve months he had almost crippling expectations on his shoulders given his performances in 13/14 and Suarez's departure, yet he still carried a decidedly average side along with Jordan Henderson. I can see it going that way with England, too. I think he's fantastic and would definitely bracket him as a world class talent given what he's currently doing as well as his potential - he has the scope to be one of the best players in the game. People seem to forget that the boy is 20 years old and is by no means the finished article yet, but how anybody can dispute his potential is ludicrous to be honest (unless people have their anti-England blinkers on). Why we seem so keen to shoot down young talent as soon as they have a little blip in form in this country is beyond me.

Donut Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Maiga for West Ham is flat out terrible Fazio has been pretty awful. Lots of players arent necessarily awful, but overrated or havent settled well
Swarles Barkley Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Patrick van aanholt. How he is a premier league left back is beyond belief
Grandad. Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Anyone saying John Stones is better at his age right now than what Rio Ferdinand was at the same age probably shouldn't have an opinion on football, for how much of a **** Ferdinand is he was absolutely brilliant, even at that age.
Grandad. Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Mark Noble Tom Huddlestone Erik Lamela Ron Vlaar Ryan Shawcross Stephen Ireland Juan Cuadrado Loads more but they're the few who have popped into my head.
Danno Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Mark Noble Tom Huddlestone Erik Lamela Ron Vlaar Ryan Shawcross Stephen Ireland Juan Cuadrado Loads more but they're the few who have popped into my head. Tom Huddlestone is attrocious. Swear people think he's Xavi with an afro because of the ridiculous hollywood balls he plays for no reason at all.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Ryan Mason is absolutely shocking, fact he has an England cap is absolutely embarrassing.
foxfanazer Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Mark Noble Tom Huddlestone Erik Lamela Ron Vlaar Ryan Shawcross Stephen Ireland Juan Cuadrado Loads more but they're the few who have popped into my head. You can have the rest but Mark Noble certainly ain't awful
Kinowe Soorie Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Ryan Mason is absolutely shocking, fact he has an England cap is absolutely embarrassing. He's a dirty twat. I wanted to run on to the pitch and hurt him. Is it just me that has these thoughts?
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 James McClean Shit player with a punchable face. He ain't that bad, stands up for what he believes in too.
Vicki Vixen Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Always thought Stuart Pearce was awful. Got away with it because of his "psycho" image and smash it as hard as you can free kicks, but as a defender was dogshit
foxfanazer Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Coloccini Wickham Agbonlahor Alan Hutton Phil Jagielka (people will disagree with this one but he's so clumsy )
Samilktray Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 I'm with Scouse on this, the double standards where Sterling & Stones are concerned is bizarre. Sterling although he didn't actually a request a transfer (I think, not sure) he gave Liverpool pretty much a whole transfer window to replace him, gets treated like a dog. Stones requests a transfer days before the window closes, leaving Everton fvck all time to replace him and he's some kind of Saint with class and manners. The lad knows what he's doing, very sly. Sterling is so far ahead of him though, so far.
Fox92 Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Mirallas. Watching the Barnsley v Everton game. And the amount of chances he squanders is scandalous. How is he a professional footballer I have no idea. Any players you just really do not rate? He's crap. Give over. He's greedy but he's a good footballer.
Dan Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Hulk from Zenit. Every time I watch him play he's blazing over about 10 shots a game with a combined distance from goal of about 19 miles. Am I missing something with him?
