The Horse's Mouth Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Apparently his contract is up next summer, so we could sign him permanently summer if he's good this season. ah alright, makes sense
Devonfox1884 Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Pretty sure if he is doing well and happy in Jan we will offer him a contract then! That's true, hadn't thought of that
Matt Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Nath Dyer, me lord, Nath Dyer, Nath Dyer, me lord, Nath Dyer, Nath Dyer, me lord, Nath Dyer, Nath Dyer, Nath Dyer. ? Always rated him, thought he was a regular at Swansea but i've been told he had an injury and didn't get his place back, is that right? Would have really like a RB but we've not done bad business this summer.
WiFoxes Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Schmeichel Huth Morgan Fuchs Albrighton Dyer/Schlupp Inler Kante Mahrez Vards Okazaki Yes please.
psychonaut Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Dyer is a genuine winger. Don't think we'll be accommodating him at wingback if we ever play 3-5-2. Why not? If we function better in this system then im sure he'd be more than happy to accommodate this position. Not signing a right back could point towards going 3-4-1-2.
martyn Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 So was Albrighton. Anyone that can run like Dyer can handle wing back So essentially anyone with pace can play wingback? Albrighton has decent natural defensive attributes, can tackle and is disciplined positionally. Not sure whether Dyer brings that to the table, but we will see.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Very pleased with this signing. I've been impressed when I've seen him play and delighted to have him with us on loan.

Guest kristianity77 Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 So if he is out of contract next summer, technically if he puts in a few good months between now and January, we could sign him on a free?
kingfox Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 No fence sitting from me on this one, solid signing.
Alex_LCFC Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 So if he is out of contract next summer, technically if he puts in a few good months between now and January, we could sign him on a free? between now and next summer. Players abroad you can sign 6 months before there contract is up

ImBlue Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 What a brilliant signing. Probably one of the best I could have hoped for today. Good work Top/Vichai/Ranieri and team.
Finnegan Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Let's just clear this up immediately, we have not signed the smallest, fastest dribbler available to us to come and be a right back. Have a ****ing word with yourselves, Jesus. Otherwise, class signing. Any notion that he's past his best at 27 is hilarious. Give him a few weeks to settle and he'll be massive here. Or not massive. But yanno.
Babylon Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Very happy with this, been crying out for another winger and pace from the bench.
Alex_LCFC Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Great, so we can sign him in January. can't sorry predicted text
foxfanazer Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 We seem to do well with these type of signings. Very pleased

Vacamion Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 I always had a soft spot for him at Swansea when he first came to prominence. A really hard worker. I wonder what made him fade from the Swansea first team. Anyway, wish him every success.
CloudFox Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 The pace in this team is genuinely frightening. Imagine being a full-back dealing with Schlupp/Dyer/De Laet/Vardy/Shinji/Kanté running at you for an hour, then seeing one of them subbed on, fresh as a daisy, ready to run at you for another 30. Phwoar. #WelcomeNathan
weller54 Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Bit disappointed that he doesn't captain an International side though!
