Jimmy Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 once he gets used to the pace of the English game he'll be brilliant
ScouseFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Thought he did ok, some good bits and some bad. These days someone is either immense or shit. It's him or drinkwater though. Drinkwater should keep his place for now. drinkwater/kante is our best as a two at the moment, definitely. king for kante and inler for drinkwater would be the changes if/when necessary. great 4 to have imo.
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 He did a lot of good things but agree he looked a weak link in THIS game. Everyone needs to get over Cambiasso, who let's not forget also struggled in games.
FoxinNotts Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 He just needs some time to adapt to the pace of the PL. as did Cambiasso. Give the man a chance. Luckily Drinkwater had a good game, and Kante is ready for the pace of the prem, as it's already part of his game. GI will be fine.
dylanlegend Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Nobody was much good in the first half. Drinkwater was just as bad as Inler. Albrighton was poor, as were Schlupp, RDL and Okazaki. Vardy didn't do much. Nothing was coming off for Mahrez. Pick on Inler though, by all means. I'll just be over here all like Since when has Fred Elliott been a Leicester fan- he's really going for it!!
Jakemoore Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 The first ten minutes I thought he looked class but apart from that, average at best. Kante has to start! Signing of the season for us no doubt.
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Not convinced. He looked out of his depth today and unlike most reports i thought he looked poor for Switzerland on Wednesday. He doesnt look like he is up for a scrap. Kante well thats different altogether. Imagine basing that opinion on about 60 minutes of football.....
ScouseFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 He just needs some time to adapt to the pace of the PL. as did Cambiasso. im going to kill myself
cc_star Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Kante has proved to be the type of play we bought him for AND hit the ground running, Inler, Okazaki & Benaloune look like they've got a lot of work to do Ulloa and Kante to start, until others earn their place from them
Webbo Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 He wasn't great today, not going to write him off yet though.
wokinghamfox Posted 13 September 2015 Author Posted 13 September 2015 Imagine basing that opinion on about 60 minutes of football..... its not opinion, did you watch the game today?. His distribution was woeful and his workrate poor. I didnt see anything in those 60 minutes that made me think that he will make a jot of difference whatsoever. Based on those 60 minutes and what is available within the squad i would ship him out now.
Wymsey Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 We're rating him after just after a game. I'm sure, like Cambiasso, he'll be a spark when he gets more game time after a slow start.
roblcfc84 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Cant agree about weds! Was easily Switzerlands best player. Today showed a few good touches. Needs a few games to adjust - serie A is a different pace. Give him time.

No, rating a player is a matter of opinion - looked a bit off the pace today but solid v England and has a good career coming into us - writing him off after an hours worth of football is daft
Singha Beer Is Good! Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Too early to write him off but he was poor today, while Kante made a massive difference when he came on.
HitchinFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Inler has great qualities – one of which is his fighting spirit, he will be fine. Just needs adjusting a bit. Kanté has less finesse but his natural style fits the English game better. Hence he looks the better of the two at the moment. Give Inler until end of October/start of November. If he still is finding it difficult and puts in another insipid performance like today's then he is fair game. But I for one am keeping my powder dry on him for the time being. Have seen him play on a different level to what we've seen so far from him in a LCFC shirt.
4everfox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Come off it lads he won the ball on countless occasions and played some lovely passes, I thought he put a shift in today and doesn't deserve the harsh criticism he has received by some fans. I'd start him and Kante in the next match behind Dyer, Mahrez and Albrighton.
The Guvnor Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Kante has proved to be the type of play we bought him for AND hit the ground running, Inler, Okazaki & Benaloune look like they've got a lot of work to do Ulloa and Kante to start, until others earn their place from them Agree regarding Inler he was touted as a replacement for Cambiasso so expectations are bound to be high, he can pick out a pass but didn't think he was great today, the changes at half time made all the difference prefer Kante on todays performance.
roblcfc84 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 I thought cambiasso was average first few games. Got better as the season went on. Also serie A started two weeks after PL so this is his first start - give him a chance . I thought okazaki did ok just he and vardy are very similar

Bert Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 His first start in a fast paced league after years in one of the slowest? Lay off him jeez.
Costa Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Agreed. Inler was not up to the pace today...lacked passion, precision and intensity. Kante on the other hand was awesome...won the ball back on numerous occasion was full of passion and attacking intent.
Wymsey Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 His first start in a fast paced league after years in one of the slowest? Lay off him jeez. If only certain posters on here had patience.
jimmeh Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 The thing is though, Kante has come from a slow league too. So it can't be an excuse for too long
