Larry_LCFC Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 His first touch was class the other night...
ARM1968 Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Ulloa will get his chance. He did very well last season.
FireFox Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Looked dangerous and didn't do anything wrong.
Jam Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 That layoff for King... It was a beauty. Just wish it fell for vardy. The form he was in today, he would dispatched that with ease. Oh well. Start next week Leo!
Great Boos Up Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Horses for courses. I wouldn't have thought in a whole season this was the game for Leo. But maybe Claudio thought that's what the arse were thinking and threw them a wild card hoping their play would change.
FireFox Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 Would like to see Ulloa starting on Saturday, even if Vardy is fit and it means dropping Shinji. Fuchs and Albrighton are both almost certain to start unless they pick up an injury, so he should get plenty of crosses and will be sure to threaten from corners.
Lambert09 Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 Leo and Vardy would be a perfect combination against Newcastle. They have no pace at the back so If they are clever they will play a very deep line to prevent Vardy getting in behind. Because of this someone like Leo becomes very dangerous as this plays to his aerial strengths. Which Steve M might realise and push the line further forward.... Thus recreating space for Vardy. So win win
Ric Flair Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 Ulloa deserves a lot more game time than he's been given so far. It's probably the only gripe I have with the current set up.
dannythefox Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 I'm sure ulloa will be involved Saturday as everyone else has been on internationals. I'd like to see more of him but at the minute knowbody can really complain because we're doing very well, through injures etc he'll get a few starts.
Charl91 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Thought he did well today. Assist for Vardy, and a goal. Can't complain with that!
Swiper Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Assist for Vardy, and a goal. Can't complain with that! Not to mention multiple other good touches and flick ons. Best touch we've seen from him in a long while.
Thracian Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Ulloa always strikes me as underrated. Okay he's a bit coltish to look at but he does weigh in with goals and assists given chance and he really does need marking. His near post header over the bar in the first half was an example. Okay, perhaps he should have scored but we've no-one else likely to seize such a chance.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Really pleased for all three of our strikers getting on the scoresheet today. Morale boosting ahead of Man Utd at home. I've felt Ulloa has come on in games and put in a very decent shift, and very happy for him to get one today.
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Was Quality today, got forward, got into good spaces, Got a goal, got an assist, caused problems, won his headers, Linked up play fantastically. 1000% Him and vardy are the better partnership.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Best team today I feel... Him and Vardy is the way to go
Unabomber Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Nice goal, not done enough to replace Shinji yet though.
NewEnglandFox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Some rust but he worked through it. Looked good with Vardy. Looked great in the sequence that led to Vardy's goal. And there is no forehead stupider to leave unmarked than Leo's when Mahrez sent him the cross. Easy goal for Leo. I want him to start next week.
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Nice goal, not done enough to replace Shinji yet though.
LibertyFox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Very calm finish for his goal and good all-round performance. Took his opportunity well today.
Guest ttfn Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Didn't think he played well at all to be honest, first half he was poor. Second half he picked up a bit and took his goal nicely (and a nice pass to Vardy for his goal just before the break too). He just surrenders possession far too easily for my liking. At times he'll take down a high ball beautifully and lay it off for a throw in, others he'll do everything right and find a teammate and others it'll just bounce off his shins to the opposition. Some players are inconsistent game-to-game but he's inconsistent minute-to-minute. He does offer us something totally different though and he's a great option to have in the squad.
