katieakita Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 Any other profession he would face a charge of bullying and intimidation regarding his treatment of the Man City midfield the way he bullied and tormented Yaya suggests Toure's best days are behind him. Koke Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 We know he is tenacious and tackles and intercepts but he is also an incredibly intelligent footballer. His positional sense and tactical awareness is stunning.
st albans fox Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 When he gets consistency in his first touch, he will be incredible. He has a tendency to over run when he intercepts at pace. Generally his pace gets him out of any hole but once he sorts that out, he will be a monster. he just never stops running.
Guest bss9401 Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 How long does it take for him to become an English citizen? Wroy should be looking through his family tree! Woy would pwobably stick him in goal!

Riot Van Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 Umm really? Verratti, Pogba, Gundogan, Nainggolan, Kroos, Thiago That's just off the top of my head mind.
FireFox Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 @@Riot Van Pogba and Vidal too, sure, many would argue they're better. I never said Kante was unarguably the best. They're mostly playing in a midfield 5 (or 3). They're also playing in teams full of world class talent. And they're highly rated (and deservedly so) for their goals, assists, etc. - which just isn't really too much part of Kante's game, so he goes underrated. foxinsox Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 Kante is magnificent. I particularly like the way he never falls over. He isn't looking for the foul and freekick, he wants to keep going. Great stuff.
Brooksy Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 One of the best midfielders in the world without a doubt. Hope we can keep hold of him

Weller in Tights Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 Please LCFC, add another year on his contract and slip in a £100 million buy out clause. He is brilliant, I couldn't give a shot about Pogba, Thiago etc, we've got Kante.

n'golofan Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 I read somewhere that this is only his fourth professional season. Is this true? Cba to check. That's true! he played one year with Boulogne in what would be the equivalent of league 1. Then he came to Caen (my team) where he played a year in Championship and another one in premier league. When he was a teenager all the big french teams refused him because of his height. He was fantastic with Caen, several french teams wanted to recruit him last summer (Lyon and Marseille) but they would not spend more than £3m . So we sold him to you guys. The owner of Lyon said in July: "If Kante wants to play for a bottom of the Premier League rather than the Champions League with Lyon that's his problem". Lyon finished last of his group in the Champions league and you guys are gonna win the Premier League with him! I can't wait to see him play for the French national team! Bob666 Posted 6 February 2016 Share Posted 6 February 2016 It's been a privilege to watch Kante play this season. There are many unsung heroes across the team as well as those such as Vardy/Mahrez who also deserve their plaudits. However, Kante has been magnificent & certainly instrumental to our fantastic season. He certainly gets my player of the season vote.
