Goals on Sunday.. Guest, Nigel Pearson!

All the Pearson lovers should remember that Pearson got himself sacked.  :nigel:

The club told him James Pearson and Adam Smith would be trialled differently to Hopper, then sacked all 3 without telling him. No surprise he kicked off really, is it?

Will imagine he'll be balanced as usual.

The bloke is and will all always be a self obsessed twat, best thing he could do is take a job at Forest so that the Nigel love in finally stops or the blind disciples of his can fook of and support Forest with him.

Rant over .

Name any really successful manager in the last 40 years and I'll show you a self obsessed tw4t. Ferguson, Mourinho, Clough etc. Unfortunately it's a trait you probably need to have to deal with the idiots that call you a self obsessed tw4t.

He's gone and Ranieri is doing a great job but why people feel the need to disrespect someone who did very good things for the club we support is beyond me.

I think he should have been sacked for employing his son in the first place, nepotism at it's finest. The lad is one of the worst footballers i've ever seen and if he turns up at Pearson's next club then i'll lose all respect for him. Wasting clubs money on a player who would struggle to compete at Conference level, let alone the Premier League. We're not talking a few hundred quid a week here either, he'd have been on at least a grand or two a week which is just disgraceful. People are astounded Steve Bruce has given his son a gig a few times but at least he has a modicum of ability and has proven to be championship level quality at least elsewhere.

On a side note, I wonder if Ranieri somehow got us to finish in the top 5 if some fans would still dismiss it and pass it off as all Pearson's doing. Prats.

Also the club sacking his son did him a favour as it meant he didn't have to break it to him that he was absolute horse shit and letting him go. His contract was up, he wasn't technically sacked was he? More let go, thanks for nothing James you're dog mess son.

Nige got a big enough pay out and alot of hush money not to open his mouth to the press so i wouldn't expect him to say any secrets or open up about his departure!

Never really watched Goals on Sunday before this season, it's actually a good little programme.

Will be watching it this week especially if our Nige is on! :worship:

when jose was on last year it was class.

Hopefully they leave the sacking situation alone as they'll just come up against a brick wall. More interested to hear how he's been keeping himself busy and what his plans are for the future to be honest.

Always miss MOTD so this is my usual sunday morning viewing, looking forward to it a bit more this week.

This is so disrespectful. You must have your head in the sand,

Exactly! some people are so unappreciative of what he did for the club. He left it in a way, way better state than we have been in since MON. Does anyone really think Ranieri would have joined us if we had been in the champ or league 1? Would we have signed Kante, Okazaki, Inler, Dyer etc if we weren't in the prem. In the prem because 1) NP was a huge part of us getting in the prem to begin with and 2)keeping us there?

He's gone now so we move on but It amazes me that anyone could have anything negative to say about him.

I still love Nige.

Anyone who doesn't is either a balloon-head, must be flexible enough to get their head in the sand, or must have delusions of a grandeur.

Id have had to have been the second coming to get a gig under my old man, the worlds harshest critic!

"Why didn't you track their full back for the second?"

"I've broken my leg dad"

"Lack of commitment, you don't want it enough - that's your problem son!"

You clearly support Forest!

Of course. How stupid of me not to have realised that over the last 43 years. Oh what a stupid boy. Steven must be punished. © John Cleese circa 1975.

I'm sure most of you will change your tune when Pearson rips Leicester to bits , personally I think Claudio is a breath of fresh air , but that's just my opinion

Hardly. To have a chance of taking our best players he'd have to be at a top 6 side

All the players involved in todays goals were his players, Drinky (won the pen), Mahrez and of course Vardy.

The entire team are his players except Inler, who was terrible! Claudio has done well with the fantastic tools Pearson has left mind.
