Basingstoke Fox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Interesting point there about vague comments.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Coming across pretty well when he talks about other teams but he clearly doesn't want to talk about why he left.

EGBFitness Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Really cannot understand the animosity towards Pearson. This is a guy who has took us from the dark of League 1 to the promise land and has also build a foundation and philosophy now for us. What would you say was Leicesters style of play before him? Barcelona, Arsenal are know for fancy tikka takka football, we are now know for our direct, counter attacking style which I have to say is enjoyable to watch as a city fan. Players that fit into this mould are only going to want to come to us, we was scrapping the barrel of the has beens before this with the odd 'above average' player to rave about. The squad is one of the strongest I've known in a long time and although yes, there is a lot of staff behind the scenes to thank for achieving this, there is also the manager who has managed and built and bonded these players. Pearson is a very marmite person, you either love him or hate him. He has plenty of flaws that came along with him during his time at city but no one can knock him for anything he has done for this club. Personally I think he was respectable and appreciative during his interview, for everything that has been achieved at this club and the manner in which he left he could of been rather bitter and called the team. Of course he is going to big himself up slightly, this is a man who's out of work and obviously now looking for a new employment and this is an opportunity to showcase himself but personally I did not feel that there was anything in there to call Leicester City. Good luck Nige wherever you choose to go
weller54 Posted 20 September 2015 Author Posted 20 September 2015 Bloke's a nutter!.. But wish him luck at Donny or wherever he ends up!
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Gobsmacked at the lack of respect for this man from some people.
ousefox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Gobsmacked at the lack of respect for this man from some people. Why? Football is always going to attract people with a brain cell deficit
Countryfox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Coming across pretty well when he talks about other teams but he clearly doesn't want to talk about why he left. Hardly surprising as he's been paid a lot of money to keep his gob shut ...... All I'm worried about is who joins him when he pops up at another club ...He will try it on because the resentment of his leaving was all over his face. And I have a lot of time for the man buts he's gone now and has no loyalty to our club.
lgfualol Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Anyone got a tl;dr of that interview? I couldnt last the 6 minutes. Always will love Pearson but he does drag on a bit.
katieakita Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Bloke's a nutter!.. But wish him luck at Donny or wherever he ends up! A nutter who got us promoted from our worst ever position and returned and changed a bang average vastly overpaid championship side into a club that is starting lts 2nd season in the premiership and responsible for making the club worth an extra 100/200 million. You sound like Post Office management.
Max Power Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 You can have massive respect and gratitude for his achievements and still think he's a bit of a tw@t can't you?
fuchsntf Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Lets face it, many city fans were waiting/hoping for a questions and answers, on his departure, The 3 stooges in Thailand, his take on the great Escape.Maybe small statement on Ranieri, and the team thusfar. Absolutely nothing...but thats no critic of the man. I have always liked the man, sad when he went, one day there might be a book, but by then my Interest would of waned. Nobodies fault, but fresh bread tastes better. I have no expectatations soon, where I see Ranieri going anywhere soon, he could well build his own Era. But , yes I would welcome NP back for another reign, if need be. Ranieri is now our man, he gets my full backing, so far doin t a great job.
Bettsj2 Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 You can have massive respect and gratitude for his achievements and still think he's a bit of a tw@t can't you? No. You either suck his dick or you're not a real fan.
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 No. You either suck his dick or you're not a real fan. The reason people question you is because you seem to hate a man who did an awful lot for this club. This sort of petty reaction doesn't make you look any better.
Tincy Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 if you tuned in to find answers of his departure then you must be an ostrich he was never ever going to spill on that was nice seeing him again
Unabomber Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 What a man looked great and spoke very well.
GingerrrFox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 People on here showing disrespect to Nigel Pearson need to shut the **** up. We would still have been languishing in League 1/Championship doing a Leeds without him you ungrateful *****.

Sharpe's Fox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Yup people who don't like Nige should go away and support CRFC they aren't real fans
GingerrrFox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Think some people do it on purpose to wind up the real fans. Think your spot on with that Una, I just don't like the snidey comments about a man who did an awful lot for Leicester City and the people who love the football club, much of what he did for charity goes unspoken but he went above and beyond his job description. He's a very honest and very decent person.

Donut Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Threads like these are pure nonsense, and i mean pure nonsense. And I havent even watched the show yet. First of all, Nigel Pearson was a GREAT manager for Leicester City. Got us up out of League 1 to the Premier League, brought in quality staff and players. THIS IS NOT IN QUESTION and i respect that. What I do not respect is ZERO credit being given to Ranieri. And I mean zero, by a fair cross section of fans. MAN UP and admit some of you hate him. Just admit it. Because Pearson was sacked. I read the match threads retrospectively because im at the matches usually of course. And theyre a bloody joke. An opposition goal goes in its world war 3. There are people on there literally ITCHING for Leicester to lose a game so they can bring their hate filled bile onto the forum. Dont deny it. It is NOT Pearsons "team" anymore. So dont say "Pearson's Team" are scoring the goals, "Pearson's Team" lookdangerous, it is now RANIERI'S team, and RANIERI is coaching the players, getting them to fulfil what he wants, selecting the tactics and instilling the spirit. And hes doing a better job of it too so far. The way a player like Gokhan Inler is being written off as rubbish so soon into his career here for example is nothing short of farcical. The way certain posters came on here in the summer and lambasted the owners as some of the worst in football, predicted a 20th place finish, declared Ranieri would rip up everything good in the club, YOU should be ashamed of your pathetic, ill founded reactionary posts. So there. Of course i have massive respect for Pearson, arguably second only to O'Neill in the clubs history as a manager, but for a large section of fans I think Nigel Pearson will be the manager of this club forever, even if hes standing there in a Villa tracksuit.
Weller in Tights Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Think some people do it on purpose to wind up the real fans. Wow, so only the Pearson supporters are 'real' fans according to your logic. A bit pompous don't you think. A lot of posturing and claiming superiority by Pearson fans on here. Personally I support City. I support the players and manager of the club. Pearson, yeah, did a lot of good things. For which I was very grateful at the time. I wasn't one that came on here bad mouthing him, though I admit at times, I felt he never had a plan B in games where we struggled. But he has now left, if he gets another job and comes to play against City, I will wish on him the same as any other opposition manager... HUMILIATION and DEFEAT. Let's focus on the now and the future, thanks Jimmy Bloomfield, Martin O'Neill and Nigel Pearson for past memories (ok and Brian Little and Jock Wallace), but I sincerely hope that Raneiri becomes our greatest manager. I always HOPE our current manager (whoever that is at the time) will become our greatest.
Carl the Llama Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Last 2 posters clearly don't support the team.
