Tuna Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Not being funny but I have no idea what Goals On Sunday is?
FireFox Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Not being funny but I have no idea what Goals On Sunday is?It is a show on Monday showing the best saves of the week.
Wymsey Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 If he's set to take the club to court (which is apparently still the case), he might not be able to say much - if asked about his recent time here?
GaelicFox Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Frosty , scary and edgy Be good TV If he's set to take the club to court (which is apparently still the case), he might not be able to say much - if asked about his recent time here? That will never make court , they will pay him off and rightly so
MONreborn Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 The bloke is and will all always be a self obsessed twat, best thing he could do is take a job at Forest so that the Nigel love in finally stops or the blind disciples of his can fook of and support Forest with him. Rant over . This is so disrespectful. You must have your head in the sand, FOAD you ostrich.

Captain... Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 I'll watch it for a while, but just to see if he gives any clues as to why he got sacked. As for Pearson all I will say is he's gone and it so far doesn't seem to have had any negative impact on the squad and we have carried on our end of season form. You could look at it as he had no real impact and really it was all down to the players and his backroom staff. Or that Nigel built an amazing team and it was so well put together that it could operate without him. The truth is there are so many factors involved that all we can do is be grateful that we had Nigel and now we have Claudio and also at everyone else involved in building this great team including the players, Shakey, Walsh, the owners. They have all played a part in getting us where we are. Cheers for everything Nigel, but time to move on.
Tuna Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Reluctant to insult people over the internet but you really are a tosser All he seems to post is anti Pearson stuff.
indierich06 Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Hard as it is for me to say this..... But this kind of thing needs to stop. Not fair on Ranieri. Yeah, bet he's gutted to see this kind of thing when he browses Foxes Talk every night.
AKCJ Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 I wish Nigel would disappear forever. How pathetic.
Russell sprout Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Nigel is a legend in My book,we are in the position we are in because of him,I hope he goes on to be a success and will always be grateful for what he's helped us achieve,we wouldn't have witnessed the events of last Sunday if it wasn't for Pearson, but some of us are to bitter to see that, If you look at what Gary speed done as Wales boss by setting the foundations for what there achieving now,I think it's fair to say Pearson done the same with us.
Jordan Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Nigel isn't the sort of person that tolerates fools, inside or outside the stadium. However, underneath the forehead, a few journalists have conceded that Pearson is an interesting and polite person when he's not creating a siege mentality in an almost paranoid attempt to protect his team from criticism. So, I'm sure he'll be just fine and entertaining enough in front of a camera until someone makes a stupid ostrich joke or asks him to essentially violate his confidentiality agreement with LCFC.
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 I just hope he doesn't come across as a bitter old knobber.
Fox42 Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 He'll just boast a Shinji-esque grin whilst holding everything in throughout the whole show.
foxfanazer Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 Hard as it is for me to say this..... But this kind of thing needs to stop. Not fair on Ranieri.because he reads FT?
KP Fox Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 Wonder what he'll make of our win at Stoke? He'll say "Stoke need a new manager, me!"
st albans fox Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 Nigel is a legend in My book,we are in the position we are in because of him,I hope he goes on to be a success and will always be grateful for what he's helped us achieve,we wouldn't have witnessed the events of last Sunday if it wasn't for Pearson, but some of us are to bitter to see that, If you look at what Gary speed done as Wales boss by setting the foundations for what there achieving now,I think it's fair to say Pearson done the same with us. That's a reasonable assessment. Not too over the top in its praise for NP but recognising the massive job he did. until we see a dip in form and whether the CR can recover quite quickly up the other side (which is something Nigel struggled with badly on two occasions), I think many will be unable to let go of the old manager. Of course, that could end quite badly so they may still be holding on tightly!
Frank to be Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 Oh right I see. Clearly youre right, Ranieri has had absolutely no effect whatsoever on the teams mentality and cohesion. In fact it was a very daft suggestion on my part that he may have had some input into that. Youre right, he clearly hasnt. you're selling yourself short somewhat because you're both right. The Ranieri effect was clearly there in the first half against villa while the 2nd half was all Pearson. And so it will be whenever we're losing or winning for most of the season
Livid Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 I've always been firmly on the fence but I can't deny he revolutionised the off the pitch areas at the club, in terms of training, fitness and analysis. The benefits of which we will see for many years to come. For that I am grateful and I wish him well.
stripeyfox Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 Pearson did a great job for us, but as far as I am concerned he is now just a former manager along with Jock Wallace, Martin O Neill and Rob Kelly. I don't lament his departure like when O'Neill left for example. He was acting like a cock and before he managed to pull that end of season run out of the hat he was a shoe in for the sack anyway. Move on!
ALC Fox Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 I haven't watched Goals on Sunday since Kammy presented it with Rob McCaffrey and it came on after Jimmy Hill's Sunday Supplement. Is it still any good? Does Kammy still have his hand firmly planted on the knee of his co-presenter? Has it declined in the way Soccer AM declined when Lovejoy left? I should probably just watch it shouldn't I ?
Steven Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 All the Pearson lovers should remember that Pearson got himself sacked.
Babylon Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 All the Pearson lovers should remember that Pearson got himself sacked. A rather simplistic take on it.
