Vindaloo FOX Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Let's judge Simpson on his game not on his personal life, it's gone, let it go the club have so should you. agree 100%
Collymore Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I think Claudio will be hiding in the shed at the safe house by 4:45pm
Captain... Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Would have liked to see Ulloa in there, they would have plans for Mahrez and a quick front two a physical presence like Ulloa and conventional wingers might give us the edge. Not happy about Simpson for football reasons, but a clean sheet and all will be justified. Not happy about Simpson for other reasons but without knowing the full details it's down to the club to decide if he is suitable for selection and Ranieri to decide if he is right for footballing reasons.
TheMightySystem Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I think Claudio will be hiding in the shed at the safe house by 4:45pm nothing like a bit of positivity eh
HitchinFox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 As well as being undomesticated in his private life, Simpson is error prone in his professional life. Watch him concede a penalty in this game.
Swiper Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Quite obviously Mahrez needs a little rest. Looking at the last couple of games he hasn't played the first half anyway but he's been on the pitch! comes on second half and scores a couple. This. He never got his feet under him last week. He needs a break.
Guest Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Do we have an obligation to play Okazaki? Not trying to be controversial but his continued inclusion is a little mystifying Not at all. Great little player helps our defence, helps our attack. He'll get half a game and Mahrez the other half after Shinji wears them down.
foxfanazer Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 You know full well he will score now Hope so buddy. Got nothing against him at all. Looked great in the first couple of games but has been almost invisible since
bovril Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 You're right just because he has a Leicester shirt on it means he's a fantastic human being. I wish all our players were the same type of role model Simpson is. PS: He's also a shit right back Vardy is by most accounts a bit of a cvnt. Steve Walsh was apparently a tosser and Stan Collymore hardly a saint. Let's not be hypocritical by pretending we're not hypocritical. I wouldn't really like to spend much time with most footballers but I'll cheer them on if they play for Leicester.
stox259 Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Mahrez on the bench think it will be 442, might be good for mahrez might make him up his game. Haha yeah because he's had a crap start to the season
roblcfc84 Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 The line up is sensible - JS and RDL have left us exposed by pushing too far foward. Keeps the flanks tight whilst allowing us to still create in the wide areas. Okazaki is in purely for his industry - away from home that makes sense
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Why in fooking gods name is Simpson playing. Not only is he shit, he's also a massive cvnt. Nice early two footer please Norwich
Sampson Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 If Mahrez needs a kick up the backside then why play Schlupp, who was even worse against Arsenal in his place?
Sharpe's Fox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Let's judge Simpson on his game not on his personal life, it's gone, let it go the club have so should you. He has been convicted of assault on his wife after being seen by police officers with his hands around her neck. He shouldn't be representing this club, it's disgusting behavior.
Number 6 Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Can understand the defensive changes but baffled by what's in front of it. Mahrez our most dangerous player and should be starting for me. Okazaki has been poor recently whereas Ulloa has showed some nice play and would have liked to see that change. Not confident in the line up. Hoping to be proved wrong.
lgfualol Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I much prefer this defence line-up (providing we don't **** up still) I think Simpson is much more solid than De Laet, at least he was good vs West Ham if you forget the penalty he nearly gave away. Ulloa would have been perfect for Fuch's long throws but Okazaki is pretty quick so can help Vardy more with counters. Excited about the game. Tire them out then throw on Mahrez.
Guest Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I guess the reason Simpson is playing is not that he's better than DeLaet but that he won't move into the attacking half meaning we at least look more solid at the back. Sadly he's such a useless player.
ARM1968 Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Claudio is showing everyone can be dropped. People would have thought Mahrez was untouchable. Sends a message to the squad as much as it does Mahrez. Good move in my opinion. Simpson for RDL shows how stuffed we are at right back. We need a quality signing January for that position.
goose2010 Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 You're right just because he has a Leicester shirt on it means he's a fantastic human being. I wish all our players were the same type of role model Simpson is. PS: He's also a shit right back Did I say he is a 'fantastic human being' no I didn't but saying you would rather play with ten, just pathetic. respect the club and the managers decision to stick by him. You talk about role models, surely doing enough in training to get on the pitch keeping his head down and walking hard to prove that is being a good role model? Maybe just get off your high horse and support him
FireFox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Fuchs for Mahrez, pushing Schlupp forward and Albrighton to the right, makes sense to me. Simpson for RDL doesn't make too muh sense though seeing as how Albrighton will already provide more defensively (than Mahrez would) and Simpson is like a shit Albrighton going forward.
Foxhateram Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Wingers changing will sure it up at the back. Bit harsh on de leat in all honesty. He has done reasonably well considering he has been left completely exposed by mahrez. (Who has been ace, but offers no defensive support) Schlupp always seems wasted at lb so I think it's a good move to give him a bit more freedom on the wing and Albrighton being on the right always seems to work better. Can see this working quite well actually. Still not convinced by drinky and Kante together down the middle though, they seem too similar to me. We need someone who is happy to be disciplined and not leave a gap down the middle. We will see. Come on you foxes.
