Countryfox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Not only did their shirts look like something a cat had puked up but their keeper was wearing pink wellingtons Could not watch that every week ..
Thracian Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Great finish. Anybody who doesn't get why Ranieri picks Okazaki needs to watch that goal on repeat. Massively important in our ability to turn over possession and launch counter-attacks as high up the pitch as possible. On that occasion I couldn't agree more - or against Sunderland. So what happened in between? It's no good just being effective 25% of the time. This is The Premiership. We need regular 7's out of 10 not the odd seven sandwiched between fours and fives. And yes, I understand the need to adjust but it needs to be quick. Another month and I can see competition for places being intense. And you conveniently neglect to highlight Ulloa's albeit disallowed goal.
Babylon Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Great team but I can't see Mahrez walking straight back in the team. Will be Albrighton and Schlupp down the wings again. One more point, Shinji cost a lot more than Vardy hahaVardy would play behind Ulloa though, which could see him revert to support striker like last year and take away his scoring threat. I think that's why Shinji is keeping his place as he lets Vardy be the focal point and does the dirty work that Vardy would be doing if Ulloa was there.
Max Power Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Im surpsried we haven't seen Mahrez as a 10 yet. Might see it for Southampton in for Okazaki but I think Ranieri likes Shinji becuase he can initiate the press with Vardy and he works hard off the ball, Mahrez doesnt always.
Countryfox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 On way home Darren Eadie and his co presenter on "Canary call" said that Leicester were the best team they had seen this season ..... One caller said "I wish we had Leicester's forwards" .... Feeling good !

Our plan A should be based, as it is, around effective use of turnovers as high up the pitch as possible. And Okazaki was excellent at West Ham too. I think he's like a better version of Nugent, who knitted the team together despite obvious limitations to his game.
Aus Fox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I thought Mahrez had a shoulder injury and wasn't risked, I fully expect him to be back in against Southampton
CosbehFox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Thought today was one of those awkward season breaker games but I shouldn't have feared. We have a great team here.
Rushden fox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I love the way Jamie took psycho Stuart Pearce,s advice and ran off cruciate ligament damage. Such a beast!!!!

He did, and still does, score goals ... Always important in a game of football
enmac Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 As Trevor Francis said, Vardy is unplayable. What a footballer. Drinkwater was next up for me, a brilliant all-round performance.Clever Trevor is my favourite pundit. We always seem to win when he's doing it.PLUS- he praised CR before the our first game. The only British pundit to do this from what I recall.
johnny the fox Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Drinkwater looks untouchable at the moment. not even jimmy savile could,,
Hollism Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Just got back. I'm absolutely drained from all the clenching I was doing for the last 25 minutes. This win is so much bigger than it looks at first glance. We could've gone from unbeaten in 10 to winless in 3 just like that. But we didn't cos we're sick.

Shamomoa Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Im extatic because Leicester won and the missus is pissed cuz England *rugby* lost. I tried consoling her. But to I'll effect. Now she won't talk to me. Lmao. I'm still happy so who cares right. ;-)
enmac Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 City have found something special. They have a player in Vardy who in 2 seasons, has become already a city legend. 2 wizzards, who are not guarranteed a place in the team but are proven match winners in Mahrez and Schlupp. DannyD improving everyweek.Kante the magic buy, with class.Albrighton..mr reliable. Now, somebody that will allow Claudio to be flexable, Fuchs , if he plays Schlupp has more freedom, plus he is a good defender. 7 games in, nice to see more players knocking on the door, which Claudio has no fear in picking, and testing his group, and tickling, not tinkering with the teams character and set up. Morgan worries me, but again he and Huth, were solid, even when they were up and against it. Palace, W.Ham, maybe Swansea, look like our contenders for suprise team of the season. like to see Ulloa or Krameric, get a nod, to start a PL game. So long as the wave is still rolling, my dream of top 6 or a suprise top 4 I will keep dreaming. Biggest test, will be when both Mahrez and Vardy are not on the team sheet. I cant remember when, city had, such tricky players like Dyer, Mahrez, Albrighton, Schlupp, Vardy in the same squad.... The nearest would be, Farrington, Glover, Weller, Fern.. The best footballing team since the 1970s-agreed.

However, just for the record, Lancaster out!

I'm not particularly a rugby fan but I was a little bit dissapointed in England losing. I said to the missus they are just as bad as England at football which didnt go down well... Which I'm not wrong tbf. But hey watch motd and it will all be soon forgotten.
deep blue Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Streams kept freezing today. Anybody else have problems? The RL commentary kept breaking - I missed all the goals!
