I think either of them up top with Vardy would be good. Although Benteke is ok 140k a week so I suppose only a loan for him would be possible

Guzan, Richards ,Hutton, Okore, Clark, Agbonlahor, Senderos, Richardson, Sanchez, Kuzak etc etc.... Bit unfair on Philippe, he was injured for long stretches. But now he can't even make it onto the Villa bench. Strange times.

steflcfc Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Before the start of next season I don't have much of an idea on names but the 4 posiitions i feel we need stretching are RB - hoping we sign a younger player in this position in the Jan transfer window that we can bed in for next season. CB - to add a bit of youth at the back. As much as Morgan and Huth have been solid, age isn't on there side. LB - although a signing in this position isn't as pivitol, we may want to start introducing Chilwell occasionally when we have a chance in games, plus keeping Fuchs a bit fresher in the long run. ATT CM - as much as Drinkwater is having a great season, 1 element missing from his game is goals, with Kante doing the defensive work, Danny will need to contribute towards scoring, otherwise a replacement going forward may be needed after this season. ATT - Vardy needs help, the 3 others in this department for various, ain't up to scratch. As much as it may cost a bit but I wouldn't mind the Watford player Ighalo.

I informed the board that Kante is the signing we had to get across the line when he was a sideshow to the jizzfest about Inler signing who I was wary of. I also said Benalouane would prove to be a flop. The only one I got wrong was predicting Kamaric's success. My No1 signing would have been Aranguiz but who could predict an injury before he played a minute so another bullet dodged there.
