themightyfin Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Higuain? Ranieri will obviously know all about him but would he be lured? It'd be a big spend but would almost garauntee 10-15 second half season goals. Would h come though ? Ha Ha your kidding right? 0 chance
Bryn Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Micah Richards isn't dogshit like, he's a decent player at a reasonable age, I wouldn't break the bank for him mind.
foxinsox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Rather than Shelvey I would try to nick Sigurdson from Swansea. He always looks dangerous to me, does a mean freekick, and is favoured by Swansea over Shelvey. Nets a few goals and is a natural CAM / number 10.
Sly Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Wilfred Bony ? Reports today linking him back to Swansea.
dannythefox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 I really thought a striker would be the number 1 position we need to fill this window and still no bids. It's the best position we've ever been in to get top 4. Surely we know who's available for what price etc with all the work that goes on behind the seens.
dylanlegend Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Wilfred Bony ? Reports today linking him back to Swansea. Now that is a shout!! Again wages may be a problem? Loan?
dave_the_fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Would man city sell to a title rival!? (wow!!??)
eddylcfc Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Jonothan dos Santos at Villareal looks a real player. Small, diminutive and has real pace for a CM. Him and Kante WOW
Danizen Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Apparently Klopp is close to giving up with Sturridge. There's a fantastic striker there if we could sort his injuries out. Not likely to happen, I know but the calibre of players we were going for in the summer, I'd be surprised if we didn't at least ask the question.
FoxinNotts Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 The only positions in which the squad needs strengthening are; a better back up keeper, better right back and most importantly a second striker/number 10. (Maybe another centre back) We should be using our lofty position and global exposure this January to buy quality in these areas, whilst we can attract the high calibre of targets. I think we are wasting a opportunity to really push on, in a way.
Ozwin Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Agreed. Can't believe what i'm reading! I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Dan Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Cannot believe we're 2nd in the Premier League and that Pantilimon and Micah Richards are being touted as genuine suggestions. Higuain? Ranieri will obviously know all about him but would he be lured? It'd be a big spend but would almost garauntee 10-15 second half season goals.Would h come though ? We haven't got a chance and you're looking at probably £50mil. We've progressed but he's way out of our reach.
LCFC1996 Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Giuseppe Rossi & Ciro Immobile both available on loan/transfer, need to find fitness and form but can both be lethal

You're right I mean when man city won the league they had some tall lad that played in goal as back up to hart.... Think his name was Pantilimon funnily enough
m4DD0gg Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Defo a number 10 please Cr. Can't take donkey Kong much longer
AKCJ Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Defo a number 10 please Cr. Can't take donkey Kong much longer Who is Donkey Kong? Both strikers played brilliantly today.
Tuna Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Who is Donkey Kong? Both strikers played brilliantly today. Ulloa ??
desertfox2 Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 25m is too much for us to be risking on him imo. Agreed. Way too much can't see liverpool getting that for him as it's too big a risk. He may go for less which would make it appealing as a fit sturridge is one of the best strikers in the prem
scinnell Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Ulloa who scored 13 goals last season and was a major part of our survival last season?
scinnell Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 He is not a striker who fits into Raneri's tactics and is massively low on confidence but to call him donkey Kong is harsh. Football fans have short memories.
MGLCFC Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 To me it's very straight forward. Vardy needs a partner, both Okasaki and Ulloa contribute and would be excellent from the bench. Would love a big, strong, pacey forward. Looks like Vincent Aboubakar is the best out there.
johnny the fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Anybody who mentions shelvey again shut the fook up, his attitude stinks..fact.
