AKCJ Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 Palace apparently activated his release clause of £22m. Would like him here but that's a lotta ££. I read that they'd bid 11m but it was instantly rejected and Palace were told to match the release clause.
Legend fox Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 I read that they'd bid 11m but it was instantly rejected and Palace were told to match the release clause. Good player but 22million is nuts but I suppose Jan transfer window is crazy.
Fox 4 Life Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/S/story-28486406-detail/story.html Bit worrying, would be disappointed if Gray was the only signing
Great Boos Up Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 We really did court Slimani last summer. Three or four bids I recall. Walsh must have pushed that hard and I'm sure we would all trust him with our lives. He just didn't know who we were apart from PL relegation fodder. In the end the money went into Inler signing. (At the time I thought we had got the better deal.) Get on the phone to your mate Riyad and then l think we've got Europe. Bust the bank and recoup on selling others.
baldeagle Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/S/story-28486406-detail/story.html Bit worrying, would be disappointed if Gray was the only signing Reading that's looks like Liam's not in his plans for sure
Vardinio'sCat Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 We've already signed Demarai Gray ffs. I'd rather the club took slightly longer a got the right players in for a good price. We've had to patient for some of the bigger deals in recent windows. Kante and Cambiasso were both protracted chases. I trust the powers that be to get the right players before the window closes. It is so easy to pay over the odds in January, paying the kind of wages that messes up our wage structure, and unbalancing us so that fringe players become demotivated, knowing they are even further from the first 11. As Claudio said, 'the star is the team', and that is the thing we must not lose in this window. Having said that, I change my mind every day about the wisdom of various purchases. If Benny stays, we wont really need a CB. If any of the bench players have good games on Sunday we may feel differently about their status. I'm just not sure what to think. These are 'top team' issues, which I'm not used to considering... I'm looking at a diagnosis of schizophrenia by the end of the month!
TJB-fox Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/S/story-28486406-detail/story.html Bit worrying, would be disappointed if Gray was the only signing I'd be gobsmacked if he's our only signing. Few journalists (that are usually fairly reliable with Leicester city related news) have tweeted saying the same really. There'll be 2/3 more I think
Buce Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Get Finger in.. He could point us in the right direction! Nailed it.
Tuna Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/S/story-28486406-detail/story.html Bit worrying, would be disappointed if Gray was the only signing Take no notice of that. Be astonished if we didn't have at least 2 more.
dpjfox Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 we are in a strong position financially and status wise im sure the club is actively looking, they would have to be exceptionally good to break into the starting 11 and must be of the right personality to even become a squad member (ie nobig time charlies here)
dbtcity Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Pantilimon as a back up/ competition for Kasper anyone?
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Bentley from Southend he's a really young keeper would be worth a punt seems to have a bright future ahead of him.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Always liked Micah Richards and even though Villa are doing so bad I think he is still strong. Let's nick him.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Always liked Micah Richards and even though Villa are doing so bad I think he is still strong. Let's nick him. Agree completely we would of had a cricket score against villa if it wasn't for Richards. Really rate him must be awful playing alongside Lescott.
foxes21 Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Always liked Micah Richards and even though Villa are doing so bad I think he is still strong. Let's nick him. Don't think he is good enough at Center Back, but would take him at right back. He sulks when he's not playing though, dunno if he'd fit with in our squad tbh
Danno Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Always liked Micah Richards and even though Villa are doing so bad I think he is still strong. Let's nick him.Micah richards is absolutely dogshit
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Artem Dzyuba from Zenit St Petersburg. Tall target man and knows where the net is.
dbtcity Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 I'm surprised we haven't been linked with Amartey again, seems to fit the profile of player we're going after
foxes21 Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 I'm surprised we haven't been linked with Amartey again, seems to fit the profile of player we're going after He wasn't allowed to move in the summer due to his permit. Was due to not playing a high enough percentage of games. That might still be the case, so I don't think we will be in for him this window. But perhaps in the summer.
sdb Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Micah richards is absolutely dogshit Agreed. Can't believe what i'm reading!
Fuch Me Moore Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Heard Newcastle are popping a bid in for Shelvey. Wouldn't be a bad option to add into CM, fight with drinky and Kante for a spot
ronnup Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Higuain? Ranieri will obviously know all about him but would he be lured? It'd be a big spend but would almost garauntee 10-15 second half season goals. Would h come though ?
dylanlegend Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Higuain? Ranieri will obviously know all about him but would he be lured? It'd be a big spend but would almost garauntee 10-15 second half season goals. Would h come though ? Brilliant striker but no chance would he join us, even if we made the Champs League
NoFuchsGiven Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Probably not much truth behind it but i saw an article saying newcastle had a 22 million bid accepted for Lacazette but he turned them down, if true i would go for him
