RizLCFC Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 Steve Walsh off? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-eyeing-leicester-scout-steve-6992005 Hopefully the article is lazy journalism. I did hear that Ben Wrigglesworth, head of technical scouting at Leicester, was set to join Arsenal.
Dan Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo please be bull
Stinkenzo Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 You'd hope it was more the way we do things rather than the actual personnel. Be a big loss though ofcourse
filbertstreet Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 just send them welsh steve instead, they'll never know the difference
Danizen Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 Can't we send them the other Steve Walsh? No one outside of Leicester knows the difference.
chrishlcfc Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 Hopefully just the usual journal bullshit, would be a big loss if he left.
notnow john Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Steve Walsh off? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-eyeing-leicester-scout-steve-6992005 Hopefully the article is lazy journalism. 4everfox Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Why would he take a step back? We are top for a reason.
EnglishOxide Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 He ain't gonna leave for a club that keeps injuring the players he finds
Stevosevic Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 This would be a proper kick in the bollocks.
BigMicky Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 The actual job is a step down, head of recruitment to chief scout.
Stinkenzo Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Daily Mirror lol http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-make-esteban-cambiasso-transfer-4021096
trabuch Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Why would he want to go to go to a team below us? And I thought Arsene was the great talent spotter. Arsenal just cherry pickers now. I hate Arsenal (used to like them)
john ridley Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 If he went that'd kill the following NP theory .
Ozwin Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Birch was on the radio earlier saying he loves it here and all sorts. Not having any of this.
Royston. Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 seems alot of people and even some media think we only signed Mahrez in the summer and Vardy was playing non league last season. Walsh may have an eye for talent but his fellow coaches and managers have played their part in what said players have developed into and it hasnt been overnight. Arsenal probably think Walsh will pluck world beaters out of the air but it can take years for players to blossom. Most top clubs want a quick fix and in this particular case arent too bothered about poaching from others to get that fix.
Aus Fox Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Wenger out, Big Nige in! #itk #hearditherefirst
NeilLCFC Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 This would be more of a loss than loosing Vardy or Riyad
GaelicFox Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Have we a clear idea who brought Claudio to the club? The owners need to invest in Steve and pay him for his genius ! Money talks ! no one goes from such a good thing like Leicester without it being an offer you can't refuse !
st albans fox Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 the back room staff won't hang around for ever once we are established as a top six side, we will pay the going rate for players (bit tongue in cheek for those who don't get satire) our manager after Claudio will probably have his own back room staff and won't want to keep whatever is left by then It's people's jobs you are talking about and they will follow the money, just like you and me.
