Everton away.. Next up.... Thoughts!

Judging by evertons forum, they are sh*tting themselves & apparently aren't playing well & are poor defensively.

Tim Howard is a terrible keeper. They should be rightfully fearing our firepower.

However the team and fans are probably very close to breaking emotionally as well as they're coming off 4 league draws. 3 games ago was the Bournemouth 3-3 where they went ahead in stoppage time and then Bournemouth came back. 2 ago was Palace in which they had the most chances but were only able to put in 1. And last weekend was Norwich when they could have scored 5 or 6 in the first half, only scored 1 and Norwich equalized very early on in the 2nd half.

I think if we go up 2 they'll fall apart.

Kasper

Simpson, Benalouane, Morgan, Fuchs

Mahrez, Kanté, King, Albrighton

Vardy, Ulloa

This will be one of the toughest games of the season. With their attacking threat in Barkley, Deulofeu and Koné and an in form physical presence up top in Lukaku this is a bad time to break up the consistent CB pairing due to Huth's suspension and it's a blow to lose his physical strength to help counter Lukaku. However, we've got more than enough to play our way in midfield and goals in our team with the form we are in. I can see it being a high scoring game, decided by one goal.

Pretty much this really.

I think it's all about the first goal. If we can keep them quiet early doors, get to half an hour at 0-0 and then get our necks in front I see no reason why we couldn't go on to win.

But if they get ahead and sense weakness in our new CB pairing, Lukaku and Co could score a few and it could be a difficult afternoon. Definitely goals in it.

Gonna be optimistic and go 2-3, Vardy and Lukaku both on the scoresheet.

Both teams have blitzing attackers and leaky defences (apart from their left backs whom are both formidable).

3-3

One things for sure, that Delefeu won't have faced a more formidable fullback than fuchs this season.

That's why I'm going for a comfortable 2-0 win. I thought Everton looked a good team, but recently they have been bang average. It will be easier than I thought a while back.

Bournemouth 3-3 Everton

Everton 4-0 Villa

You say there is nothing to worry about....but at the start of the season that would've been an expected/ok return of points for us in those games.

2-2 draw, Lukaku/Barkley , Vardy (2)

Both attacks can be devastating at times, and both teams will go for it, Everton are at home so the onus is on them to push forward and I can't imagine a game without us providing a huge threat

A point closer to survival

Everton are a good side and will be hard to play against at their place.

I would be happy with a draw for this one.

I think if we can stop Delafaou we have a good chance, hopefully Fuchs has him in his back pocket.

They are a threat all over and Barkley and Lukaku will cause trouble but think they mainly come through Delafaou

Some WEIRD suggestions in here!

- We just played and beat the champions with an attacking line up

- We've won our last two away games 3-0

- We've scored 9 goals in our last 3 away

- Everton are leaking goals

No reason to change things, just King and Benny in. Simples.

We play a narrow back 4 and that isn't ideal against Delefeu who plays very wide. Albrighton is going to have to put in a big shift to help Fuchs out and with Baines now back the same could be said of the other side.

Going forwards, as has been the case all season, I expect us to cause them problems but concentration and helping our full backs out could be key.

Expect it will be a great spectacle though.

Personally would go for Inler over King. Playing against Barry and Cleverley energy isn't going to be an issue and with Kante alongside him it's going to be reduced even more.

Inler is similar to Drinkwater in that he has an eye for a pass and has a better range of passing than Kingy, with Everton's fullbacks known for pushing high and wide those cross field passes and through balls in behind to space will be of much use on Saturday.

we don't have such a leaky defence any longer do we?

It's also Arsenal v Man City. We could break away from the pack. Imagine Christmas Day and 3+ points clear at the top!

They will score; so lets go hard for the win.

What have we got to lose ?

This. If Fuchs can stop delefou and Kante barley we can definitely win this as that's Lukaku without service. I'd play Ulloa mainly for defending set pieces.
