weller54 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Drinky and Huth both out... King in quite obviously! Was or Benny for Huth.. I'd take a draw in this one.. Gonna be a tough match.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Everton without a win in 3 in the league
car1os Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Will be a good match - probably billed as Lukaku vs Vardy. King and Benny to show we do in fact have strength in depth. 1-1.
RobHawk Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 We are looking better and more confident as the season goes on! If we can play our game, I see no reason why we can't get 3 points. That said, I'm not underestimating Everton as they are a good side with some solid players, but we have to go into the game high on confidence after today!
Captain... Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Drinky definitely out? Still a question mark over Ulloa/Shinji maybe a midfield 3 King, Inler and Kante? Especially with Huth out, Kante screening the back four Inler and King in the middle, Mahrez and Albrighton pushed forward to support Vardy.
Harry - LCFC Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I know this might be a bit backward looking but we'd be well placed for a top six finish if we avoid defeat in this game. The Europa League would be a fantastic achievement if that's what we end up with this season.
johnny the fox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I would play inler in midfield.. the man must be class ..his chance to show it...
foxes21 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I think we can beat them, but with Huth out I'd take a draw
Vindaloo FOX Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 if Drinkwater is out maybe this . Plan A Plan B Vardy Ulloa Vardy Albrighton King Kante Mahrez Mahrez Fuchs King Kante Inler Albrighton Fuchs Benny Wes Simpson Benny Wes Was Kasper Kasper
lgfualol Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 King for Drinky Benny for Huth I'd probably keep Ulloa in again. Fancy another 2-2. We must keep Deleufeu whatever his name is quiet in order to keep them out.
Stevosevic Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Tough game this, let's have a go. Probably take a draw though
MC Prussian Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 King for Drinky Benny for Huth I'd probably keep Ulloa in again. Fancy another 2-2. We must keep Deleufeu whatever his name is quiet in order to keep them out. Him, Barkley and Lukaku are a real menace. It's going to be a tough ask for our back four as well as our midfielders to step up and stop them at their place. If Drinkwater's definitely out for Saturday, I would like to see Inler given a chance from the start alongside Kanté. The 4-4-2 needs to stay. I'm very happy with the way the season's shaping up so far - only the striker pairing does worry me somewhat. I think both Ulloa and Okazaki have been rather wasteful up front. I do hope that whomever starts together with Vardy again has rediscovered his scoring boots, because they are to come in handy in the (unlikely) case Vardy is out for a while.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Take a draw. 0-0 would be satisfying for me just to stop Lukaku in his tracks
NewEnglandFox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 @Vindaloo FOX I do not fancy 3 at the back against Everton. I like the width of 4 and prefer that they have to go through both Fuchs and Albrighton on the left.
americanfox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 4-4-2: Kasper / Fuchs, Wes, Benny, Simpson / Albrighton, Kante, King or Inler, Mahrez / Vardy, Ulloa Keep Ulloa's leash tight and be ready to sub in Okazaki when energy levels down.
americanfox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 if Drinkwater is out maybe this . Plan A Plan B Vardy Ulloa Vardy Albrighton King Kante Mahrez Mahrez Fuchs King Kante Inler Albrighton Fuchs Benny Wes Simpson Benny Wes Was Kasper Kasper No way Claudio ever plays a back three -- he had the chance and didn't. Don't think Claudio likes playing Mahrez in the hole anyway, and don't think that suits Mahrez's strengths.

LCCFox96 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Kasper Simpson, Benalouane, Morgan, Fuchs Mahrez, Kanté, King, Albrighton Vardy, Ulloa This will be one of the toughest games of the season. With their attacking threat in Barkley, Deulofeu and Koné and an in form physical presence up top in Lukaku this is a bad time to break up the consistent CB pairing due to Huth's suspension and it's a blow to lose his physical strength to help counter Lukaku. However, we've got more than enough to play our way in midfield and goals in our team with the form we are in. I can see it being a high scoring game, decided by one goal.
foxes21 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Judging by evertons forum, they are sh*tting themselves & apparently aren't playing well & are poor defensively.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Will be a tough game Winnable Would take a draw away
sdb Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Judging by evertons forum, they are sh*tting themselves & apparently aren't playing well & are poor defensively. They looked decent first 45 on Sat!
