elvisfmcfly Posted 22 January 2016 Posted 22 January 2016 Even with a point off for their first goal i rated him a 7 and arguably MoM given how much he created and tried to create notwithstanding his generally sterling efforts in defence. It wasn't a game of great performances from any of our players but his was the most memorable - and the most positive. Are you sure he wasnt worth a 7.25?
GaelicFox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Most papers saying he is off to Arsenal this week with city holding out for £5m
Kilworthfox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/12116571/Arsenal-transfer-news-Arsene-Wenger-ready-to-make-second-bid-for-Leicester-City-defender-Ben-Chilwell.html He's not going anywhere says Claudio.
Bamba's Babes Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I've got a feeling he'll leave, he isn't Leicester born so the loyalty factor is missing.
mozartfox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 needs to put 2 stone on...that will come in time...needs to go on the lash with grealish....just joking. Give him a copy of Taylor-Fletcher's diet plan at the end of May and come pre-season he will be 2 stone heavier (minimum).
dannythefox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 5million bid gone in from Arsenal again if reports are correct tonight. We really do need to keep this kid.
Tuna Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 5million bid gone in from Arsenal again if reports are correct tonight. We really do need to keep this kid. I'll take 2 million from him from Arsenal....plus Sanchez, Ozil and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
poggypogpog Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Can't see them accepting. (fingers crossed)
Buzzell Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 5million bid gone in from Arsenal again if reports are correct tonight. We really do need to keep this kid. Some bloke at the ground said there was £7m on the table from Arsenal. Don't know whether that's true or pure bull.

foxes161 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Days of needing to sell to big clubs are gone Need to keep him
v6rat Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 It's all up to Chilwell, if he won't sign a new contract with us before the end of January, then we will probably have to sell and take the cash rather than lose him on a free in the summer. I hope he signs, great talent that will break into the first team in the near future.
LCCFox96 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Totally impressed with this guy in his two starts. Keep at all costs. Really hope we tie him down to a new deal.

Thracian Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 How are we going to keep him if he doesn't want to stay?
v6rat Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 His contract isn't up till next summer so I don't think there's as much of a rush Oh ok, I thought it was this summer, good news, gives us a bit more breathing space to sort things out
chicagofox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'd like him to stay but losing Chilwell would really not be that big of a deal.
EnglishOxide Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 He wants to play football. It's looking like we are competing in 4 competitions next season so there will be no shortage of opportunity for him. I fancy him to sign a new contract in the summer. He's naive if he thinks he will go to one of the bigger clubs and walk into their team.

Absolutely no way does he think he can walk into one of the big 4s teams, no way.
Guest Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'd like him to stay but losing Chilwell would really not be that big of a deal. It should be if we're looking to develop talent to continue from this current excellent first team
TheLittleBigMan Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Gotta keep this kid at all costs. The only good youth prospect we've got for a position that only has 2 players in for it, one of which is injured. He's played internationals with demi so a fantastic understanding can be built for the future with 2 very talented players. Get lost gooners, you've already nicked one of our scouts, sniffing round shlupp and marhez and your not bloody well having chilwell!!
volpeazzurro Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 I agree we should try hard to keep him and he would stand as much if not more chance of getting game time with us next season compared with Arsenal or Liverpool ie we'll be in more competitions than Liverpool. Only a complete idiot would fail to see that we are a club on the up more so than Liverpool even. He however has to realise what he actually is, a young player with very good potential and that's it, he has a lot to learn. Whilst there's nothing to suggest he is, we shouldn't if it occurs be held to ransome by him or his agent, he is not yet a Fuchs or a Drinkwater who have paid their dues.
