Doumbia, 28, spent five years at CSKA Moscow before moving to Roma at the start of 2015. He struggled to make an impact in Italy, scoring just two goals in the second half of last season, and rejoined the Russian club on loan last summer. His return to CSKA has seen the striker’s stock rise sharply, with goals in the Champions League against Manchester United and PSV Eindhoven. With his loan deal now expired, CSKA are trying to seal a permanent return for the pacey striker before the Russian Premier League resumes in March. But Leicester are also keen on Doumbia and are hopeful of luring him to the King Power Stadium. Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri wants more support for top scorer Jamie Vardy as his side bid to keep up their unlikely title charge and is plotting a move this month. CSKA want to extend his loan and there's interest from China. I hope he signs and plays like he does in Russia, expensive risk though.
