Glenelgfox - A Fighting Fox

Hi all. Been a week out of hospital after a 35 day stretch. Sadly only have matter of weeks to live as I cannot eat or drink properly due to the cancer closing my bowel down. Surviving on cocktail of IV fluiids and 8 plus IV injections daily and now bound to a wheelchair for getting out of the house.

On a more positive note - the Govt. TV broadcaster here in AUS (equivalent to BBC) the ABC are have just part completed a story about me re my battle and the rise of Leicester - essentially based on the story the Leicester Mercury ran back in January. They are going record me and one of my foxes mates watching match this weekend and they are hoping for the Swansea game to do some footage with some of you on here at the game. Again this is very humbling but also driving me to survive until seasons end so I can pass knowing where we finish.

So that is my current situation. Cheers all.

Very sad to hear Tony but you do know The boys are going to do it for you my friend there is no doubt about that.

Hope you can hang in there to watch Wes lift the trophy.

Tony - it's really sad to hear the latest news. I'll echo the words of others and say that it's great to hear the coverage your story is getting and also that you'll be seeing the Foxes win the Premier League before you go!

Focus on all the positivity we're sending you Tony, focus on the boys in blue and listen on youtube to the fans after the game at Palace, you're gonna win this race by staying in the game until we're the champions, what a feeling that will be. I'm praying for you, stay strong.

Hate it every time this bounces back up.

Wanting the lads to do it so much for you.

Two wins n a spuds loss.

Keep on fighting just like the lads Tony.

Keep fighting Tony. We are going to do this.

Stay positive, hang on in there and watch us lift that trophy.

Am trying to find a nicer way to ask this, please forgive me if it comes out wrong, but God forbid when the time comes, can you make sure you have a relative/friend who can log on here and let us know.

I'm sure you have already thought this through but everytime I see your screen name on here I'm praying your'e still fighting strong to see your dream fulfilled.

We are all thinking of you and are on this journey with you mate, albeit from afar.

Keep going Tony. You're in the thoughts of all Leicester supporters.

I wish you well and I hope you get to see Wes Morgan holding that beautiful trophy very soon.

All the best to you and your family.

When my mother was told she only had 2 months to live I was devastated. I honestly don't know how anyone can cope with that knowledge. Keep fighting mate we'll have won it in a couple of weeks, you'll see us lift the trophy.

Best of luck my friend, what can you say to that?

I can only hope you're at peace with your situation and that you hang on in there for at least another month and die with acceptance and happy to see our team win the PL.

I only wish we could do more for you than words.

Not sure what to say but definitely can't just read that and click away to a different thread without saying something.

All the best mate and I really hope we win it as soon as possible for you.

Tony's situation should give everyone in here a bit of perspective.

All of us should cherish what we hold dear, enjoy the good times and keep punching.

Really hope Tony gets to see us win the league.
