Definitely think we've left ourselves open letting Kramaric leave without seemingly having a replacement immediately lined up. All selling clubs now know we're desperate for a new striker and as the window gets closer to closing the cost will just go up and up and we'll get into bidding wars. Not sure why we didn't opt to get the replacement in first then sanction the loan.

I think it's times like these we probably need to sit back and ask ourselves... "Who would Marsaille like to sign to play up front" and royally piss them off by hijacking another of their transfer targets.

He's on a recall deal isn't he ?

Champions League - THAT is a serious amount of cash.

Winning the Prem - THAT is a serious amount of cash.

We're not talking DiMaria waste of money here.

Don't see the problem with £19million if I'm honest. Not my cash, and we've got to take the risk somewhere on what are perceived quality players.

Anybody else notice that the strikers we keep looking at can also play on the wing?

I did and Lw in particular

I think in an ideal world we'd like to buy a player who is an excellent replacement for Vardy in the No 9 role if he's gets an injury and will still get in the first XI because he can play the LW or No 10 roie.

I think we have a recall option on Krammy, although I can't see him coming back myself.

Bizarrely, I find myself thinking Remi would be our best option. He knows the Prem. We're not after 'more goals' as such, we're after a quality to bolster what we already have. It's not my money, so I'm not interested in the cost, but the risk is buying a player for a large fee, and he fails, in the case of Musa, for instance. This on top of the Kramric deal, would not be good.

It's almost not worth speculating anymore, as all known candidates outside of Musa seem to be non-options now.

We might as well just kick back on our collective arses and wait this one out.

EDIT: Bid accepted for Eder? Well I'll just slink away now...

Your opinion on players instantly takes a nose dive when you can't spell their names correctly... sorry

Whilst you are correct, with that attitude you would end up with a squad of Townsends, Couches etc etc and no Mahrez,'s and Kantes. It's very limiting to only focus on those already here.

Christ, imagine playing against a whole squad of Couches. It would be like being in the path of a stampeding herd of giraffes.

And there's me thinking it sounds like a comfortable match.
