HighPeakFox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Me, I'd be well pleased, although right now it feels like a disappointing prospect!
stevelcfc Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Ecstatic, how could I feel anything else. This is once in a lifetime stuff, don't feel disappointed, value it for what it is/becomes.
lgfualol Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'd still take anywhere in top 6 dont care where. I have to remind myself we are Leicester still, and appreciate what we have done already.
Xen Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 This season has been amazing, so top 3 would be incredible. The fact that we actually have a chance of winning the whole thing (?!) though would mean there's a dash of disappointment at what could have been, but I certainly wouldn't be displeased.
weller54 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 After this weekends results I'm beginning to think we could win the thing... That's just bonkers!!
StanSP Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Ecstatic. No question about it. Considering where we've come from (last season) and the stature of our club compared to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd etc (regardless of their seasons), to finish 3rd would be insane. To finish top 4 would be. To qualify for Champions League is something no-one at all would have predicted or expected for us.
HighPeakFox Posted 24 January 2016 Author Posted 24 January 2016 Quite so - I think in reality I'd be ecstatic. The prospect of a European odyssey would be something else.........
AKCJ Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 1-3 = Ecstatic 4 = Very pleased. 5-6 = Pleased 7-8 = Absolutely gutted.
Foxy harry Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 getting to far ahead of myself but the thought of big wes lifting the trophy gives me goosebumps
bovril Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 As above. I'd be pleased with anywhere in the top 6. Ultimately I am constantly ecstatic at the moment that my football club is so fvcking awesome.
ktfox59 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'd still take anywhere in top 6 dont care where. I have to remind myself we are Leicester still, and appreciate what we have done already.couldnt agree more. The big picture. Euro football in just 2yrs of being back in the premier league. If someone said that when we signed Leo, matt upson and Marc pre season 2014 you would have probably been banned for life here due to complete stupidity. Just embrace and end enjoy the here and now.
bluebeau Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Of course I would be over the Moon, but I voted 'Pleased' because I now believe we have a real chance of finishing top, so unbelievably I would be a little disappointed to finish in 3rd place!!!
foxychik Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Voted pleased but with a slight dash of disappointment because of how long we've spent at the top this season
Swarles Barkley Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I reckon it'll depend on the way we could finish 3rd. If we drop off and just about cling on I would be ecstatic however if we are neck and neck in the title race then get pipped in the last few weeks it would be a bit displeasing. However whatever happens, this season has been amazing with so many good moments. I would be proud of the club even if we finished 6/7. Especially considering where we were just one year ago!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 To finish in the top 6 itself would be truly fantastic, so yeah 3rd would be superb in my opinion. Voted ecstatic.
Rincewind Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I voted pleased but really it would between pleased and ecstatic. Although I would not be happy when all the pundits come out with the 'I told you so, they could not keep being lucky and win it because Arsenal/Man Utd/Spurs are class outfits and much better' 'Lets talk about the Champions 24 hr non stop.' If we win it, it will be, 'What do you think went wrong with Arsenal Man Utd Spurs Chelsea this season to allow a club like Leicester to win the League Alan?' But why worry about what others think it is the here and now that matters. I never thought that I would see what is happening in my lifetime so I am well pleased.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Finishing in the top 4 would arguable be the greatest achievement in the clubs history, I couldn't be anything other than ecstatic!
Fox92 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Nobody can be disappointed or gutted with third place in the top flight.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I was expecting blind drunk for days to be an option. Thats what I'd have voted for.
sdb Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'd take it right now 100%!!! Thing is I don't really want Europa League. I know i'll get slated for that but money isn't great, it wouldn't attract layers better than we have and playing every forth Thursday night in Russia and the like would destroy our season, I believe. Champions League on the other hand...!!!
Thracian Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Here we are top of the league - three points clear of Arsenal and even with a marginally better goals difference and some are talking about finishing third. For pleasure's sake what's up with you all. Let's live the dream and think about winning something. Not second, not third but raising the trophy and then declaring our intention to retain it.Why so damned half-hearted?
Corky Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Third would be incredible. And we are guaranteed six Champions League games next season if we manage to finish there.
ktfox59 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'd take it right now 100%!!! Thing is I don't really want Europa League. Champions League on the other hand...!!! good points there
Dan Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'd be very happy with 3rd but... we could potentially produce one of the most incredible things in football this season if we win the league, it would be gutting to get so close to that and not going the full way, regardless of how well we've done. Keeping some perspective from pre-season we've had a fantastic season no matter what.
