Pasty1 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Afte the lads have had a rest... they will be well up for this...... 3 points off Liverpool and a draw at man City me thinks........ A loss at Arsenal......... In second place for the run in.....
stix Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 How do you think Liverpool ****ed us last time? Reckon they could do the same? Liverpool changed their formation against us and matched us man for man, our midfield couldn't get a hold of the game and they were just better than us. I think they'll do the same again. Will be difficult but the extra rest for us may prove key. Gonna go 1-0 Vardy.
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 They really aren't very good are they? Can see us ripping their defence to shreds if we play correctly.
simon789us Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Play like we can then we will have um be a tough game though
Detroit Blues Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I think the circumstances of this game are really going to favor us. After playing 120 minutes yesterday and 90 minutes on Saturday, they're going to have a tough time pressing us like they did last time we met. I think the last team in the premier league you'd want to face with tired legs would be us. 3-1 Leicester.
Gerard Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Hopefully they'll consider the West Ham game more important than our game. They absolutely ripped us a new one at their place a month a go so they're not to be underestimated.
purpleronnie Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 No doubt they'll play loads better than last night.
harpendenfox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Time we upped the ante in the stands. Absolutely knee trembling levels of support required from 5 minutes before kick off. Everyone up. Ranieri's blue and white army. Hopefully they'll consider the West Ham game more important than our game. They absolutely ripped us a new one at their place a month a go so they're not to be underestimated. No they didn't. They were ok, we were under par
Captain... Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 No they didn't. They were ok, we were under par Agreed, sadly I felt they worked harder and pressed quicker than we did, but they didn't rip us a new one, just battled us off our game.
lgfualol Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Agreed, sadly I felt they worked harder and pressed quicker than we did, but they didn't rip us a new one, just battled us off our game. Also we didnt have Drinkwater
Finnaldo Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Also we didnt have Drinkwater Plus Vardy and Mahrez were off form.
foxes21 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 They had to work 10 times harder then usual when we last played them and it was still pretty close. Would take alot to repeat that performance with their congested fixture list. And we are definitely going to turn up this match. Win.
WesMorganGod Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 We need to play much much much better than the game against them on boxing day, we just didn't attack at all in that game. Liverpool have been playing a lot of games and we can rest too so thats hugely in our favour. Going for 2-1 to us. 3 points will be fantastic.
leicesterseddon Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Hopefully they'll consider the West Ham game more important than our game. They absolutely ripped us a new one at their place a month a go so they're not to be underestimated. They played better than us, but there's no way "ripped us a new one". A bit hyperbolic for a 0-1 defeat away from home methinks?
Wymsey Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 They're are a big club, yes, but on the field they're quite mediocre - but admit I'm starting to admire Klopp, appears quite decent and level-headed. Perhaps it's because they're missing the influence of Sturridge, with whom they seem to do well. Sakho, Lovren and Moreno seem to struggle under pressure - so high-intensity play should be continued against them.
cunica Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 This is the beauty of being out of the cup competitions, Liverpool played 120 mins last night and have another game in 3 days against a good West Ham side whilst we sit back and go for Pizza, What strange times we are living in when I'll be disappointed with a draw! Our midfield will have a field day against this lot This is the reason why I am so convinced in a win. More winnable then Aston Villa IMO.
(.) (.) Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 This is the sort of mid-table team we need to put to the sword if we are serious about winning the league.
Koke Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 We were poor last time. We were without Drinkwater, and King looked lost out there. Klopp did his homework on us though. But I think we will turn up this time. Their defence is shocking. But Liverpool have a habit of turning up for high profile games. 1-0 to us.
Nalis Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Last time we thought they were shit they beat us. That said... 2-1 Leicester, Vardy and Huth,
suffolk fox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Lovren will be back for this. I bloody well hope so he is gash.
nnfox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Sturridge could be available too. Coutinho is making good progress. Will be interesting to see how they line up.
