Leicester City v Norwich Post Match

I went through most of that game thinking that we would score next Tuesday, apart from the fact that we were playing West Brom, so we probably wouldn't.

Thank God for that. I was dreading the fact that Tottenham would be top on Sunday. C'mon you Swans!!!!

Better second half, Norwich surrounded both Vardy and Drinkwater. We will have to get used to teams playing for a draw \ 1-0. Apart from the Jerome chance Norwich's attack was mostly half chances.

Winning when we haven't played the best, I'll take that.

Last minute goal went our way for once! Absolutely chuffed. A draw today really could have hit our confidence hard.

Up the city!

Settled down now after shaking with nerves for the past 100 plus minutes. Don't know how I'll sleep tonight, or for the next three months!

Nowhere near sharp enough today, and slightly lucky to get a win as we didn't create too much. Great to see Shlupp back as we have missed the options he gives us, although he was a bit rusty, but they all looked a bit off the pace. Amartey was caught ball watching at times. Like a lot of foreign players coming into the P/L, the pace is ferocious and he will learn that. Simpson will be back next match.

So pleased to win, it was critical after the Arse'nal result and the late win makes up a little for the late goal conceded at Arse'nal.

COME ON SWANSEA and COME ON MAN URE!!!!

We just gotta keep believing. They don't just award premiership titles! Teams are not going to just lie down when they play us especially if they are threatened with relegation. We are gonna have to put up with games like this until the end of the season I'm afraid . And it looks like we can grind out results! Come on the city!

Massive.  Stole the three points really and I do empathise with them, today they were us last season for most parts, playing well but getting nothing.  A lot of people said we'd tear their defence apart but they defended very well as a team.  They'll be just about ok if they defend like that for the rest of the season but they really need more quality up front - Jerome just isn't good enough but Redmond shows a lot of promise.

We really need to come out against West Brom and look for an early goal because they will not miss chances from set pieces and if we go 1-0 down you're looking at a very very frustrating game.

Probably been said by others and im sure you dont mean he wont become premier league quality but he is still quite young at 21, as well as moving to a new country where the football is alot quicker, I would say he had an ok debut and pushed up the pitch to try and offer another option.

Agree though Simpson in on tuesday.

Like I said, it's still early days for him. I'm just not sure a top of the table run in is the right time or place for him to be adjusting. We need to be bang on form for the rest of the season and Simpson is probably our best option. Amartey will come good given time I'm sure.

Fair enough I can agree with that, second choice for me though if Simpson gets injured/sent off.

Don't think it's a wise move either, but i thought he did okay to earn his spot. A lot would think otherwise but i thought he did well, very well.

Were we watching the same game? Norwich had the better opportunities and were not parking the bus, yes they were shit in attack for the most part but their game plan worked against our lacklustre performance. Credit to them for having a go and staying disciplined and credit to us for taking our chance when it came.

I just felt too many of their players didn't actually believe themselves in an attacking sense (including Cameron Jerome) which is why they gave the ball back to us in positions where there was no pressure on the ball.

Equally, their defence was aided by our lack of ideas for the best part of 60 minutes. If it was a heroic, backs to,the wall job with lots of blocks, tackles, clearances, etc then I'd agree more that they deserved something - but I felt they offered very little in both areas of play and it was more our lack lustre play that kept them in the game than anything Norwich specifically did.

God, that was so tense. Feel like I've aged 10 years. Unbelievable feeling when the goal went in. Fingers crossed ManUre and Swansea can do us a favour tomorrow!

For the first time in my life I'll be cheering Man U .

WOW! I honestly thought it was going to be "one of those frustrating days"!

Champions win even when they aren't playing at their best!

I was listening to 5 live commentary - were we actually poor today or did Norwich park the bus and it took us a while to figure out what to do?

To be honest, Norwich almost outplayed us at our own game, pressing hard, never letting the midfield settle on the ball. If their forwards had been as good as Ulloa and Vardy (and our defence hadn't had Schmeichel, Huth and Morgan)  we'd have been two or three down when Ulloa scored.

But that's why we are top of the league and they are struggling.
