Hammered Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Honestly I'm not wengered atm. Like Julian I fancy West Ham to make coup d'etat and snatch fourth place at the last minute outmuscling both Manchesters. It would be fun to see the Hammers gatecrash the party at the top, with Payet the master blacksmith in godly form and Bilic (I have a soft spot for the lad since his playing days) keeping up the fire it seems highly possible. Coming along with Leicesters title, that would be outrageous! Imagine the scenes, Utd supporters united in mourning or screaming for LvG head again, the ultimate confusion of pundits, newspaper headlines (Hammerfoxed! / Foxhammered) I wouldn't like Foxes to hand them any points, mind you. Of the remaining games, West Ham could be the toughest one. I like you a bit more every passing day. Everything you said + Lawro's facial expression that very moment, printed out, framed and saved for eternity
FoxFossil Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 See the brilliant post: The road to a 1st Place or 4th Place finish More Worried about West Ham and Chelsea sneeking up into top four,as they are showing real form. Les-TA-Jon says we only need 8ish points to be sure of 4th spot...
Captain... Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 The only worry I have is that United and Chelsea will have something worthwhile to play for when we come a calling.
ScouseFox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Nope more pressure for Man City/Arsenal/Spurs. agreed, if anyone should be looking over their shoulders at fifth place it should be fourth place or third place, not top. sometimes people just see the difference in points between us and another team and thinks it's a match between the two. it's ridiculous to think united will catch us before the season is over, but even if they did that's not the end of the world because it would need Spurs, Arsenal and man city to catch us too which won't happen.
goose2010 Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 10 point advantage in a 10 game shoot off? I fancy our chances to be honest, we have only lost 3 games all season we might draw a couple but cant see us losing more than 3 out of the remaining ten and definitely cant see united going unbeaten. Would love it if West Ham and United nick 3rd and 4th from Arsenal and City though. The main reason is that united will then probably keep LVG
lestajigs Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 There not even playing well though, Watford were the better team last night
harrowhorn Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Don't worry, they are poor. Total smash and grab last night, we should have been 3 up at half time if Ighalo had his shooting (and passing) boots on, and had a stonewall pen not given. Vardy and Mahrez will tear their very shaky defence a new rectum. Mind you, if we play like last night we'll be hard to crack on Saturday, but I reckon the title is for you and Tottenham to fight over. Hope it's you!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 I'm more worried about this procession of pointless threads! yes it's exciting but really?
Bazly Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 I'm certain they will be more worried about a team called Leicester City potentially gate crashing the top 4.
CollinsLCFC Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Feel this thread concerns Arsenal & Man City fans more than us..
themightyfin Posted 4 March 2016 Author Posted 4 March 2016 We are Leicester City remember we never do things easy!
deep blue Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 We are Leicester City remember we never do things easy! We won the championship easily, and div 1.
possiblygeorge Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 They can do it at most likely City's expense. You know who else aren't entirely done? Chelsea. I could see them winning every single one of their remaining games. As long as it isn't against us i couldn't care where those c**ts end up
trabuch Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 We are going to win this. Champions league - who cares now. Winning the title would be historic. At the start of the season I wanted top ten (I knew we were good), now I want history. I'll be happy with merely a champions league place as long as we win it next year. And to to answer the op. No.
chicagofox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 No cos both West Ham and Manchester Utd are selcome to join us in the Champions League next season.
act smiley Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Famous last words but I can't see either Manchester team overtaking us. The problem is if Utd are still in a 4th place fight it's going to be difficult vs them. If we go into the last 3 games without a massive lead I'll be bricking it.
Spudulike Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Need to know which UTD the op is referring to. 'United' and 'City' are not exclusive to Manchester clubs.
FireFox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Need to know which UTD the op is referring to. 'United' and 'City' are not exclusive to Manchester clubs. Clearly talking about Newcastle United.
mozartfox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 More worried about West Ham United. That is going to be a very tricky match. Hopefully, come season's end they muscle out Arsolenal from a top 4 finish.
