Let's be honest.
Fox92 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I'm using the players that have been called up here (ie not players such as Baines)... Butland Clyne (should be Simpson really. I don't rate Clyne at all) Smalling Jagielka (I'm better than Cahill) Rose Dier Drinkwater Barkley Alli Kane Rooney/Vardy
Guest NGoloMode Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Not many wingers in the squad makes me think Vardy is getting stuck on the wing again.
Fox92 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Not many wingers in the squad makes me think Vardy is getting stuck on the wing again. No doubt about it. Hodgson will not play two up front. He's a very defensive manager. Walcott, Welbeck, Vardy, Sterling will all be deployed as wingers. Rooney/Alli/Barkley will play behind Kane.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 It's a bloody shame for Vardy, getting stuck on the wing.
kingfox Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 4-2-3-1 formation Butland Walker Smalling Cahill Rose Wilshere(If fit) Dier Antonio Alli Sterling Kane Rest of squad - Hart, Forster, Clyne, Stones, Jagielka, Bertrand, Drinkwater, Noble, Barkley, Rooney, Vardy, Welbeck/Sturridge
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Milner and Walcott's inclusion is a joke, their England days should be over, only getting in because of who they play for, and Woy still talks about the Ox as well, ridiculous.
General Smuts Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 England squad Goalkeepers: Jack Butland (Stoke City), Fraser Forster (Southampton), Joe Hart (Manchester City). Tuna Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Hart, Walker, Cahill, Jagielka, Rose, Henderson, Drinky, Alli, Barkley, Lallana, Kane. Vardy to come on with 20 minutes left.
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Absolutely infuriates me. Rooney was wank the small part of this season he did play and he will miss most of it through injury. He should be nowhere near the ****ing England squad ahead of Kane and Vardy.
Danno Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Butland Clyne Stones Smalling Rose Dier Drinkwater Barkley Alli Vardy Kane
ousefox Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Surprised a few of you have Lallana in your teams. He's been shite this season
Jaspa Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 If you look back at the other threads weve had like this is the past theyve been massively off the mark Hart Byram - Stones - Dier - Cresswell Henderson Alli Albrighton - Barkley - Sterling Kane Bench : Butland, Trippier, Smalling, Cahill, Shaw, Drinkwater, Wilshere, Watmore, D.Grey, A.Grey, Vardy, Anthony Joshua, Rashford Edit : bloody ell, Ive read the title too literally as WC2018 Russia right: Hart Clyne - Smalling - Cahill - Rose Henderson Alli Delph - Kane - Sterling Vardy
LCFC FOX Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Butland Clyne Stones Smalling Bertrand Drinkwater Alli Sterling Barkley Vardy Kane
Grantham Fox Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Butland Clyne Smalling Cahill Rose Dier Barkley Drinkwater Sterling Vardy Kane
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I'd be very surprised to see Drinky starting! Would love it though obviously.
Matt Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Not a fucking chance Drinky or Vardy will start let alone both at the same time! Infact, I came in this thread thinking it was about the upcoming Friendlies, since realising you're talking about it being the Euros i'll genuinely be surprised if Drinky or Vardy go, again let alone both!

Donut Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 You cant pick a team JUST on form players. They need to fit into a system. If that means playing a player better suited to the style or the system, so be it. There is also a large degree of trust that Woy has with certain players. This is natural, he knows what they will give him and what they can do. There isnt a whole lot of scope for change between now and the Euro's, i wouldnt expect Drinkwater to feature too heavily going forwards, but certainly Vardy needs to be utilised within the squad.
Fox92 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Surprised a few of you have Lallana in your teams. He's been shite this season He is shit full stop.
whoareyaaa Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 England talk about moving forward, playing with pace and an attacking threat and James Milner still continues to some god damn how get a spot in the squad, and Henderson and Clyne aha laughable that these 3 players will start in the Euros at some point. Pretty sure Rooney will be starting even though he has been awful and been out for a while. Its why we will never win it.
Donut Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 We wont win it simply because other teams are better than us, but Woy obviously sees certain players as integral to the systems and styles he wants to play. We are simply not going to kick off the euros with a team of uncapped and havent played together players just because they are in good club form.
filbertway Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Shocked how many are calling for the diamond. Such a horrible system.
