David Hankey Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Claudio has posted on record his desire to retire here at Leicester City and is not tempted to manage Italy. He is very happy and we are more than pleased with what he has achieved, long may it continue. This is great news for the Club and fans as he is turning out to be the best manager this Club has ever had.
09bballer Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 And be likes chilli sausages! Good to have a bit of fire in the belly for the run in.
weller54 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Has a year to go before he can draw his old age pension.. So the extra £540 per month means he can relax a bit and takes the financial pressure off.. All makes sense.
Vlad the Fox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Brilliant from the man again, stops dead in its tracks any speculation surrounding the Italian job that could distract our run in. He also seems so happy here and I think he will become a legend for us.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Massive, unfettered love for the Don. What a brilliant character to add to our list of legends. Hero
Wolfox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Brilliant news - would Gary Lineker care to tweet on the topic?
filbertstreet Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Brilliant news - would Gary Lineker care to tweet on the topic? shat on claudio
Fox92 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 He has said this before but there's no way he wouldn't consider managing Italy, surely.
Webbo Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 I so hope this is true and not another of Claudio's white lies. We really need him for next year's champions league campaign.
Foxxed Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 I so hope this is true and not another of Claudio's white lies. We really need him for next year's champions league campaign. Apart from saying the transfer window was closed before we signed someone new, with such hardly being a stinging critique imo, what else has he said?
Sionnach gorm Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 He said that there is a lot of work left. I suppose he means to make the club a permanent top fixture in the years to come. It would really be nice if a bad year for Leicester is sixth place. I am betting if that happens we will clammer "Ranieri Out" By his second or third season. Fans can be so fickle when success is seen as a "right" and is expected.
bluesbrothers Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 The only Italian Job Claudio will be doing next year is smuggling three European points out of Turin.
evostic Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Obviously likes the atmosphere, and can pretty much do no wrong at the moment. I think the team and Claudio have been a pretty fortuitous coming together, long may it reign
LCCFox96 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Claudio is the Godfather, I'm sorry but he just is.
sylofox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Tell me he is fvcking joking after the shite he serves up would rather we got Holloway back for 6 seasons.
SecretPro Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Tell me he is fvcking joking after the shite he serves up would rather we got Holloway back for 6 seasons. Glad someone has finally said it.
MPH Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Brilliant from the man again, stops dead in its tracks any speculation surrounding the Italian job that could distract our run in. He also seems so happy here and I think he will become a legend for us. He's just moved into his house on Hands Avenue. Very Happy with the new back garden gate they just put on.
WesMorganGod Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Good news!, he is a good manager and has helped us, but he should also recognize that he is very lucky, he came into a great squad and with a great spirit and mentality that was already created and he is very lucky. So we deserve loyalty.

Chester Dontlie Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Yes. Why would he want to go anywhere, anyway? He knows if he wins the title now, nothing can top that... Not even winning World Cup with Italy. The only way to top that would be to conquer the Champions League with Leicester of course
americanfox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Yes. Why would he want to go anywhere, anyway? He knows if he wins the title now, nothing can top that... Not even winning World Cup with Italy. The only way to top that would be to conquer the Champions League with Leicester of course I'm pretty sure as an Italian, that would be the *only* thing that tops winning a title with us. Let's not kid ourselves.
Soar Fox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 ffs He's not wrong though is he. Most managers come into a mess, deadwood players, low morale, losing mentality, unhappy players. Claudio was fortunate that he came into a well ran club with good foundations already put in place. He's obviously changed things tactically but players have already said he came in and didn't need massive changes. It's a credit to Claudio that he saw this and carried on the good work whereas other managers would come in and want to make changes instantly.
