lgfualol Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Same team as usual. Will be another grindy game. Spurs have to go to Anfield the same weekend, so it would be great if we could take advantage if they lose or draw.
ramadaone Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 May well revolve around who comes back from International duties in one piece
Thracian Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 There's no way we'll underestimate Southampton. They're an excellent side at full strength and more than capable of testing our defence. That doesn't mean we can't come up with the right performance and result though!

Ranieri don't underestimate anyone, every team is given careful consideration and respect... it is why we are where we are
Foxxed Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 We've executed our plan B well so far--but this this will be the biggest test of it yet: a dangerous team with an excellent defence. They're easily the best team we've had to face since we played Arsenal. I wonder how they'll approach it. The last five games have proved teams can't simply out-Leicester Leicester and haul in the points, even if that may be the best approach. That said, they're a lot better than the teams we've had to play in the last five. We're going to have to play even better than we have done. Looking forward to the match.... two weeks away.
Gerard Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Brilliant result today, I wanted 13pts from our last five games and that's what we got. The next four are all MUST WIN and the we re evaluate for the Man Utd match. Four tough games but we go into them as favourites in all of them. Southampton (h) Sunderland (a) West Ham (h) Swansea (h) C'mon Leicester, we can do this.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 The most important game of the season (so far) Difficult game against good opposition Winnable though for Leicester Up the Foxes
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Southampton are a fantastic footballing side, and for them to build after having a quality team dismantled by the top clubs is fantastic... they are a great club like us
Bearman Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Another 1-0 win and 3 points in the bag for you today. Will the monopoly of the cash rich BPL teams be broken do you think? Still a lot of football to be played but the spirit of the Leicester boys appears to be unbreakable from where I stand. Who can believe 'the best league in the world' would see Claudio Ranieri leading a club like Leicester (no offence) 8 points clear in top spot at this stage never mind mid-table survival? With three of their next four at home (struggling Sunderland is the away game) they could just have the opportunity to make dreams come true for the loyal fans.Go on City!
ARM1968 Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Tough game. They all are. Be tight but can see us edging it if nerves are kept at bay.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Jamie to have a party in this game with a cool hat trick. 3-1 to the mighty foxes!
Benguin Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I don't think Southampton is a must win. We have doused spurs with pressure this week and have a minimum 5 point head start going into next week. Southampton are in form and have a great squad. We have the advantage of being at home and it can't be stressed enough how important the "12th man" will be. A point will be a good result but with Tottenham away at Liverpool and Liverpool being an in form team (Picked up as many as us over the last ten) I fancy an upset for spurs. If spurs win on Saturday then a point is essential but a win preferable. If spurs lose then there is no pressure as we remain 5 ahead without kicking a ball. Hopefully we can calve out a decent win with spurs dropping and be closer to the finish line. I won't make my mind up about this game just yet though as next is some fun watching Drinky and Kante making their international debuts!
WesMorganGod Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 2-0 to us, Southampton are very inconsistent and they are better at home than away. Hard match but we are the best team and will beat them!!
desertfox2 Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Spurs play twice before we kick off , they may still be 8 points adrift or only 2! Guess that will determine the level of any nervousness This. They have a lot of pressure on them though Spurs. Every game for them is a must win to reel us in
HighPeakFox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I have never hated the international break more - chances of injuries, and 2 weeks of mounting tension before this match.
Nick Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I love this league leading coverage! We are on SKY every bloody Sunday from now until May 1st! LOVELY! http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/10182000/premier-league-fixtures-live-on-sky-sports-leicester-tottenham-arsenal-and-man-city

Good thing is that the Everton game wont be played on Monday evening as Everton play on Wednesday that week.
sylofox Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 I think waiting till after the international's would be a good idea. Our players don't get injured for us. Nothing stopping agent Kane taking drinky out in training. This is going to be the worst wait between games we have had. Our players playing in white internationals. I would rather none had got call ups.

Southampton are an excellent side, Sunderland have only lost once at home (dodgy 1-0 to Man City) in 2016, and West Ham are also excellent. As long as we stay focused and continue to defend like we have, we could get seven or eight points from these matches. More would be a bonus.
