erlee Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 We're going to do it aren't we. Defence were all excellent today but I think Danny Simpson has to be MOTM NOT really -missed a sitter... nearly got sent off Morgan = MOTM
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Watch the goal again and look at Drinkwater https://streamable.com/ozrt That's my FIFA celebration when I forget the controls.
chuck'em Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 NOT really -missed a sitter... nearly got sent off Morgan = MOTM He missed a sitter but more than made up for it with his defending. How did he nearly get sent off?
lee7 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I was clinging on to the chair for the last 20 minutes! Nerve wrecking times. I wish we'd beat teams more convincingly so we don't have to sit through an agonising final 20-30 minutes!
The Doctor Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 The big one is when Sadio mane's shot hits Danny Simpson and it is a red card and a penalty. "If it is not a handball, it is a goal. If his arm isn't there it smacks him in the kidneys and goes away anyway... Pathetic from Koeman, I did think he was quite a gracious bloke before today, but he's trying to pass the blame on to the referee when it was his abysmal tactics that lost them the game and meant they had to get a great performance from Forster to just lose by one.
Carl the Llama Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Southampton manager Ronald Koeman: "We started the game badly and lost control, but after 20 minutes we were dominating. But for the third match in a row we don't get a 100% penalty - Stoke City away, Liverpool at home, and today two penalties. The big one is when Sadio mane's shot hits Danny Simpson and it is a red card and a penalty. "If it is not a handball, it is a goal. I don't know what they are doing. This is a big match. It is about the Premier League title and our ambitions to play in Europe. "The second one was when Robert Huth handled. "I don't say they don't deserve the victory, that they don't fight and have amazing spirit, but if it is a penalty and a red card they don't win. "I don't think that they are against Southampton, but it is very strange." Dominating? Kasper had one save to make all game. If it's not handball, it hits his ribs you daft twat. And how can you claim we wouldn't win if we went down to 10? He's got to at least pretend that he wanted the win today. Spurs fans cottoning on to the Leicester conspiracy.
ajthefox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 "They had a fantastic chance but Simpson made a fantastic save. It was very close to him, he was running and his arm was very close to his body. " Ranieri's had a mare...
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Koeman what is he on about... Kasper made one comfortable save and that was it. Forster was their MotM and keep the score to just the 1 could have been 3 easily
erlee Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 He missed a sitter but more than made up for it with his defending. How did he nearly get sent off? HAND BALL - DOGSO - RED CARD

It hit him on the elbow but it was at the side of his body. it would have been a harsh pen. I would have given the Huth 1 though, not that I'm complaining.

If his arm is in a different position, it's still square into the side of his body and being blocked. Huth one would be absurdly harsh - down by his side, almost behind him and it's blasted from a foot away. No way that could possibly be considered intentional, so it can't be handball.
foxes161 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 with sunderland next this is looking soo good right now.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Brilliant result Up the Foxes Are we safe yet? . . .
Guest LCFC_World Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Honestly that was the most nervy game this season, fans were fantastic though. although I'd take a scrappy 1-0 win for the rest of the season
ScouseFox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 today confirmed were winning 1-0 on purpose to troll arsenal and spurs. simpsons miss ffs . we are magic. what a bunch of guys. ulloa and gray in the corner for five minutes at the end summed it up. neither first choice, ones only been here 3 months but we give a fu ck and we fight. and we win. again. next.
Kendal Fox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I can't take much more of these 1 nils!! Then again, I'll take them till the end of the season thank you very much!!!!
Max Power Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Back four utterly colossal. The job Ranieri has done on us defesively is staggering. It's getting closer and closer
Kendal Fox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Just seen Peter Taylor on Sky Sports News saying we've been "lucky" this season and that he was backing Spurs until today's result. Reckons we had a let off because of Shane Long's absence. The nerve of the man to even agree to speak about Leicester City???!!!!!
AyewJoking Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Koeman is only human and rightly pissed off being denied 2 penalties which i honestly wouldnt have complained about. another day, another ref, another season..... very lucky leicester but i'll allow it
pazzerfox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Defence was class. Shinji and Mahrez didn't play too well but travelling probably hampered them. Albrighton was lively, as was Vards. bsaint Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Well done guys, seen you play better and thought a draw Would of been fair, but you defended well and got the result. You had chances which you should have taken and we had more of the ball and didn't create much. Handballs - the reason Koeman is raging is because for weeks now penalties just haven't gone our way and it is getting beyond a joke now. Trying to look at it as if I was a neutral, the Simpson one I wouldn't have given personally but seen it given, but the huth one was stonewall.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Vardy's dive. https://media.giphy.com/media/xTiQyBzaHcrnra96Mg/giphy.gif I missed this - what was the context?
