Fox92 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Bit nervy at times, but an excellent win. Clean sheet is massive again. Love clean sheets me. Thought Simpson was MOTM. Impressed with Southampton also, one of the better oppositions this season.
WesMorganGod Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Well thats the greatest defender you will ever see in your life, travels all around the world in very hot and humid temperatures, comes back and completely dominates the opposition, and then scores a fantastic header. I'm not surprised for a second, hes always been the best ever. So happy... the league is so close, nothing can stop the journey now.
Daggers Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Anybody seriously thinking the ref was on our side or that either pen shout was valid needs to quit watching footy and take up scrapbooking as a hobby.
ARM1968 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 CL nailed on more or less. Another point? Move on to the next target after that.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Mathematically Leicester will be champion (the ideal scenario in 24 April) if : 10 april tottenham Man United draw Sunderland Leicester win diff +9 pts 17 avril Leicester West Ham win diff +9 pts 18 april stock city tottenham win diff +9 pts 24 avril Leicester swansea city win diff +9 pts else if : The 1mai with Man U Leicester just draw or at least the 7 Mai with Leicester everton to win finally the Championchip I love champion chips
Guest bennytwohats Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Y3ah but how many saves did Kasper have to make? 2 was it all game? Solid defence. Just wow Quite - highlights just how good the defence were. So many times they were floating balls into the box but they won literally nothing. The whole defensive performance was imperious, so much so that Kasper didn't really do much!
Wortho Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 It's just a shame that DS didn't take his chance. Brilliant from everyone. What a chance we have I just can't believe it. Unbelievable.

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I'm hoping Simpson has the opportunity to score before the end of the season. He's been so key to our success - clean sheets, putting his body in front of shots, defending excellently.
Crowfeathers Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 59 and a bit years for me, and I know how you feel. As I've said several times, my big hope over the past couple of years is that we could win the FA Cup before I turn me toes up. Win the League? No chance, never in a million years. Like you said, keep going, keep nicking wins - and Spuds keep dropping points - and it's going to be the impossible dream come true. I'm fvckin' loving it! 53 years, I'm with you fellas. Never in my wildest dreams.

Carl the Llama Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Says it all that I've seen 3 different motms from 3 different outlets: Sky had Morgan, BBC went for Kanté, and this place has mostly sided with Simpson (I think). What a defence. What a team. What a season.
Countryfox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 If we carry on like this people will be selling "LCFC Premier League Champions 2015/6" scarves very soon !!
Donut Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Is it wrong to openly say, I dont see how it can be thrown away from here?
act smiley Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Huth's never a penalty either. Absolutely lashed at him from about half a metre away. I've been happy to concede that we've been fortunate on a number of occasions this season with referees but I'd have been really disappointed if either of those "penalty shouts" had been given. Huth's is one where you can argue he knew what he was doing. It's ball-to-hand of course, but as he slows down he sticks his arm out more than you'd think is natural, so you could argue he's taking up a goalkeeping-style position early so its not possible for the ball to get past without hitting his arm. So yeah, I can see how someone could argue for handball on that one, Simpson's is never one though.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 The point, for me, is that whilst neither were penalties, we've seen them given. On and off, all season. So yes, we were lucky that the ref gave neither.
Captain... Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Simpson was outstanding, amazing block when Mane was through, never a penalty. A number of great tackles and some thudding headers. Such a shame that shot didn't go in. Live Huth's handball looked unavoidable, thought the ref was good at letting the game flow there were a few times the ball made contact with an arm/hand and he just let it go.
Illusion35 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 First home game I've missed this season due to being in Sydney - nearly 4am here and still can't sleep after that!
Corky Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Strange feeling about the game in that we seemed under pressure for a good period yet scored and Forster made two other saves whilst they had one clear chance so I think we just about deserved it. They were a neat side but we headed or cleared virtually everything away and one great cross and header won the game. Simpson and Morgan were superb whilst Vardy led from the front. What a run we've been on, five wins in six at a crucial stage of the season. Brilliant. And the crowd were fantastic towards the end.
Carl the Llama Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Is it wrong to openly say, I dont see how it can be thrown away from here? Yes. Keep ploughing onwards to that overweight bird.
Izzy Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Couldn't give a fvck about Coeman and his moaning. Couldn't give a fvck about jealous Spurs fans moaning. Couldn't give a fvck about pundits calling us lucky. We're gonna win the league so fvck em all...
pazzerfox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Michael Oliver has been quite good to us over the last few seasons.
