I want to see Lisbon.Lisbon is a fantastic place.Had the pleasure of being there for the Europa league knockout stage with Rangers a few years ago. Great city, great ground, the locals were very welcoming too (even the local drug dealers were friendly).
Manwell Pablo Posted 5 July 2016 Posted 5 July 2016 Yeah I've been Jose Alvalade, atmospheric to say the least, Locals were alright, and yeah it's full of people trying to sell you what I imagine would be extremly poor quality Cocaine but was a decent weekend. if I was going to go back to Lisbon though I'd prefer it to be Benfica having not been there. Although I think the only way I'm getting a ticket is if we end up playing some dead end Eastern block team with no direct flights and it costs about £1000 to get there , Might have to go to one of the aways without a ticket just for the crack tbh.

But obviously we don't know yet whether that first game will be home or away.

For more details, we've got to wait until the group stage draw on the 25th of August.
LJS Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 I doubt I'll get to any unless there are flight-match-flight packages as I've used remaining leave on trips with the missus to Cornwall, Amsterdam and New York. Could probably swing finishing work a bit early to fly out somewhere fairly close by if there are post-match flights going. Shame, but not really willing to give up relationship time.
