treer Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Shame, but not really willing to give up relationship time. OMG
Danizen Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Ha amazing. Absolute cricket score in wait there though you'd think. I think it'll be quite close. Celtic are a better side than people think.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 As EDN has stated, it's going to be on the 13th or 14th of September. For more details, we've got to wait until the group stage draw on the 25th of August. Only 8 weeks away. Shits getting real.
Matt Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 I think it'll be quite close. Celtic are a better side than people think. In a League One standard League. Not their fault, they can only play what's infront of them but they were a better team a few years ago and the standard of their league is one of the reasons to blame for that. And no, they are not welcome in the English league.
Marmite Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 I doubt I'll get to any unless there are flight-match-flight packages as I've used remaining leave on trips with the missus to Cornwall, Amsterdam and New York. Could probably swing finishing work a bit early to fly out somewhere fairly close by if there are post-match flights going. Shame, but not really willing to give up relationship time. Which translates to my Mrs made me use all my holidays up to take me away and she wouldn't let me go anyway
LJS Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Which translates to my Mrs made me use all my holidays up to take me away and she wouldn't let me go anyway Nope, I like the travelling more than she does. I like the missus and seeing nice places with her is more important. I get to go to all the home games and any aways if I fancy. I go to games alone and I've always found going to aways alone to be shit. If I can manage a European away or two I will because it's a different experience and an opportunity to travel.

Wymsey Posted 11 July 2016 Posted 11 July 2016 With us as debutants, let's hope we really give it a good go. Celtic start off their (pre) CL campaign, 2nd qualifying round, away to Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar) tomorrow - live on BT Sport.

Wymsey Posted 11 July 2016 Posted 11 July 2016 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/105521-champions-league-201617/ Will that just be used whenever we are on and just CL discussion on us only, or all/most clubs involved?
C-man Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Starts getting real tonight. Teams we could legitimately face enter the fray. Some great cities. CosbehFox Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 I've gonna booked the middle three days of the week for the September fixtures for work in readiness
Captain... Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 If we had finished fourth would we be entering at this stage as we have no European ranking?
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 No. This stage actually for champions only I think? Where we start in the competition is based purely on whether you finish 1-4th, in England 1st team group stage top seed 2-3 group stage, 4th play off round. Only thing coefficient points affect is seeding.
Dan Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 How on earth am I meant to know who I want from there Who's the most bizarre of those that isn't ridiculously priced to get to?

Manwell Pablo Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 How on earth am I meant to know who I want from there Who's the most bizarre of those that isn't ridiculously priced to get to? There aint that many places that will cost you a bomb...Astana at a months notice would leave a massive dent in your wallet, flight probably more than a season ticket and thats before you even consider other expenses like transfers, getting to London for the flight, match ticket, hotel cause you aint going back without sleeping etc. Thankfully someone should deal with them On the flip side of the coin imagine a ride out to Sunny Wales in your first CL outing with an allocation of about 6 tickets . Thankfully someone will deal with them. Of the feasible teams Rosenborg and Copenhagen stand out.
filbertway Posted 12 July 2016 Posted 12 July 2016 Celtic losing to the Imps They just hit the bar, but Lincoln could be 2-1 up. Absolutely awful. Efe Ambrose is possibly one of the worst defenders I've ever seen play at this level.
