katieakita Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Not sure the FA will be best pleased with the performance of Mr Moss today think they will want things to go quiet as quickly as possible. Yes players should respect the Ref and not swear at them but Jon Moss deserves all the bile thrown at him for his usual poor standard of refereeing.
Kitchandro Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 A bit ott, as ever. I'm not a fan of a player screaming "f***ing c***" in a refs face. Players know the rules, it was stupid at this stage of the season. So do referees, allegedly. If Moss had a decent bone in his body he'd watch the game back and accept he deserved to be called a f***ing c***.
Lcfc_lass10 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 You see players giving it to the ref every time when they get sent off, who doesn't. Yet most of the time they don't get a longer ban. If vardy does get longer then once again just shows the lack of consistency by referees. Saying that, we seen enough today.
norwichfox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Somehow I get the feeling that this is contrived to make the last day of the season a nail biter for Sly Sports ratings.....tomorrows Tottenham game result will have a bigger bearing than Vardy not being available for 1 game.

Yeah because the FA care about skysports
Corky Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Players give referees plenty of verbal abuse for minor incidents, you have to expect it when a red card is shown whether it is correct behaviour or not.
Len Finsbury Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 If yet another mook says 'why should he be banned for telling the truth' my sides will literally split! You guys are hilarious
Bluetintedspecs Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 I am shocked to see a kneejerk and dramatic overreaction thread on Foxes Talk. Calm the fvck down!
m4DD0gg Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Given what is at stake it's hardly an over reaction. The premier leagues joint top scorer and the best striker we have had since Gary Lineker could be potentially banned for 3 out of the 4 most important games in our clubs history.
Blanchflower78 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Suspensions arent decided on sentiment only fact. If Vardy is in the wrong he'll be punished further, if not he wont.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 When will we find out if this is happening or not?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 When will we find out if this is happening or not? 2am

Cometh the hour , cometh the man. Ranieri will find the right solution, then still find the right substitutes for each game... I mentioned in a previous post, that Schlupp and Shinji could will be our EOS heroes. Dont start believing the hype from Outsiders now...!!! That without Vardy we would struggle..
MC Prussian Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 We could still try to get the extended ban rescinded, couldn't we? Let's wait and see what the start of next week brings...
Cornish Lair Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 It will be interesting to hear what the pundits have to say on MOTD this evening. I have not seen the match yet. It takes a long time to get down here in Cornwall

smr Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Remember when shearer balantantly kicked Lennon in the face back at filbert street and didn't get sent off, when the was talk of a suspension he played the England card and that was that Yeah, I was 4 rows from the front barely 15 feet away... He stamped on him and reminds me of it everytime he laughs on MOTD.
adam Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 If they start extending bans for swearing I imagine the majority of red cards will get extended bans. It happens every week.
theessexfox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 They let him off giving the lino the finger earlier in the season, the pessimist in me thinks this may lend them to be less favourable to him on this occasion.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Been saying now for months how terrible refereeing decisions can have such a massive impact on the outcomes of football matches. In relation to gambling is the focus I've been using. If Vardy gets a longer ban for this, which is possible I'm afraid, rendering him effectively out of the rest of the season, this could have a HUGE impact on what has been an amazing season. I believe that video technology will become a reality before too long, not only for goal line decisions but for key issues within games. The difference that having a crap referee can have on football is immense.

I know what he is and his importance to the team is, however please tell me what good drama queen hissy fitting does? Especially before we know anything concrete and I'll run round flapping my arms saying the end is nigh too.
Guest ttfn Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 He deserves a longer ban. Putting to one side that his conduct on the pitch today was absolutely not worthy of a sending off - one soft and one extremely debatable yellow card - you can't go dropping c bombs on the referee, even if he has put in a hilariously shit shift.
Dan Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 If he does I defy a single person to defend that. Plain and simple double standards.
