Vardy & LCFC Charged by the FA - Charges Accepted & Personal Hearing Requested

Totally agree

You would mate, blue tinted specs ain't the word for you at times, never seen you agree with a decision that hasn't gone our way.

Moss made a hash out of yesterday esp in regards to penalty decisions, you cannot for me give a pen for cumulative fouls, it either is or it isn't. Ridiculous way to go about it.

Vardy call was spot on, ridiculous dive and if he's opened his mouth afterwards even worse, deserves to be charged. whoever said it could be good for the film script, I'd love to see it if this ends up costing us the league, Leonardo does not fit the game we play, which I'm hoping won't effect the Swansea game as hopefully we can play more of the possession based game we've been displaying recently but no Vardy at old Trafford is a dagger through the heart in regards to the way we want to play there and our chances of taking advantage of Spurs being away at Stamford bridge.

Anyway, up the Stoke, Spurs fail to win tonight we are still sitting pretty despite this rather unesc set back.

I have to say it takes a particular kind of arrogance to issue charges after one of the worst refereeing performances this season. And I mean that equally on behalf of WHU.

We have been tucked up a treat here but we now need to use this to our advantage. I want to see 3 of the horriblest 1-0 victories ever won and the whole league be appalled with us. Fcuk everyone and the fairytale, we've been done here and they can bollocks. Let's do this for US!!!!!

I agree, but honestly, I want some more 3-0s.

Win every game comfortably, score without Vardy, still keep clean sheets, show everyone that we are FEARLESS and shut them all up.

So Carroll isn't being charged for questioning the refs integrity at the end and accusing him of being a cheat to the entire world? Madness; Sure Vardy should be punished for it, but how is what Carrolls done any different? Both have undermined the ref by accusing him of lacking decency and integrity. Would have thought the inconsistency would at least end with the match.

I thought Vardy did pretty well to control his temper, if it was me I'd have knocked him down and just layed into the cnut.

Jeez Pabbers no need to make this personal

I'm entitled to an opinion aswell, in fact I've gone on record as saying the ref was shit for both WH and us

That all said I do think there is a conspiracy and the London mafia (football mafia and media) will try any dirty trick in the book to unsettle things

My opinion Pabbers my opinion

If vardy deserves to be banned do you not think its a totally moot point what happens to carrol given they can't catch us.

Besides I think questioning him after that performance is probably warranted where as calling him a ****, well safe to say your asking for trouble.

Fair enough just an observation.

On reflection I read it as you backing his dive tbf you were probably agreeing due to the first yellow

So wish this was Moss, thing is if it was me i'd have pushed him, kicked him and punched him aswell, needing to be dragged off the cunt.

Not really - they may not be able to catch us, but it's still a massive "one rule for one team, different rule for another" if Carroll isn't charged for his comments.

Can't believe what I'm reading here. Dive or no dive, yellows or not - the ref made his decision and if anyone thinks Vardy can expect to get up, aggressively jab in the refs face and call him a fvcking cvnt and get away with is a bit...odd.

If he did that in another situation wouldn't it just be a straight red? And wouldn't that be a 3 match ban? Or is 3 matches just for violent conduct?

If the offences were on a par I'd agree.

One is a skewed but warranted comment about a refing performance

The other is just out and out unwarranted abuse.

In all seriousness I think this whole ordeal might work in our favour. For the first time this year, people have turned on us a bit. It's being heavily publicised and we've been backed in to a corner a bit.

You know for a fact that when Vardy comes back he'll be chomping at the bit and he'll be flying about like a mad man. I could see him pulling out some Man U 5-3esque performances during the last few games.

It's a siege mentality now. Ranieri should use all of this to do his team talks for him, it's not only vardy but the club being called in to question now. I think it'll spark us in to action.

We will do this. We will.

I pretty much agree that there is no overarching conspiracy racy designed to scupper our title bid, however if you look at everything that has happened in the last few weeks it's hard not to see a pattern forming.

Press stories have been growing which are designed to rock our boat and put questions in people's minds.

The players are being asked relentlessly if they'll bottle it, not in so many words but that's the underlying meaning.

SKY and BBC commentators and pundits are so openly biased it's quite irritating now.

Words aimed at referees where the refs themselves have been implicated in aiding our miracle. Referees are real people who hear these things and it creeps in. Moss was desperate to prove that he hadn't swallowed the dream.

And now we will get the FA over reacting because, at the end of the day we are Leicester and we really shouldn't be treading the hallowed ground and breathing the rarefied air we are.

Put it all together and you can see the wheels of the machine moving against us.

I just hope that for once the little guys come out on top.

I am quite glad that there are still six days to the next game. Claudio has time for some new tactics and the team can calm their legitimate anger.

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Lets smash this league.

To be fair we are at our best when underdogs so now that sky and the papers are guaranteeing a Spurs title we might push on. Just wish we had our best player available to help out!

We were fortunate that the FA didn't act over Vardy's middle finger gesture to the linesman in the Watford game. They could have given him a one or two match ban (like Suarez and Wilshere for the same gesture). These were the next two games:

Newcastle (a)

Man U  (h)

Yep - the 10th and 11th games of his scoring run.

Worried that we could lose our heads over this a bit. It's all well and good having a siege mentality and all that, but if that leads to use charging in and making poor decisions, it could cost us.

Yesterday was the first sign of inexperience at this level showing. Hopefully it's just a blip. We've been so professional all season. It'd be such a shame to lose our heads now. Come on you foxes!

As a footballer I love him. He does everything.

As a bloke he's clearly as gobby twat and it's got him into trouble again.

I have to agree with this. Like it or not, Vardy reacted badly to his second yellow card: the picture on this article says it all: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/apr/18/leicester-jamie-vardy-charged-fa-ban.

OK, so we can say Vardy had a right to be angry, feel aggrieved, be upset and all that. But he's a highly paid professional, and he must know that stabbing his finger in the ref's face and calling him a fvcking cvnt (which he clearly did) is going to make things worse. And it has.

One of the things I have been impressed with over the past two or three seasons is our team's self-control when things go wrong. Simpson - who, according to the prosecution in that court case, has anger management issues - didn't eff and blind at the ref when he was sent-off against Arsenal. Morgan didn't eff and blind when the penalty was given against him yesterday. Our players don't do the Fergie/Keane trick of trying to bully referees, and that's the way it should be.

I hope the FA will take into account the fact that Jon Moss didn't have a good game - although it was better than a lot of people have been saying - and that Vardy got carried away in the heat of the moment. I doubt it, though.
