Donut Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Jan Kirchoff looks great after a shaky start at Sunderland. Fernando at Man City. Not an elegant player but a good engine and helps others around him do their thing. Only defensive minded midfielder they have.

Kane, Alli and to some extent Eriksen will get all the plaudits but this fella runs the show, physically impossible to shrug off the ball and tidy with it at feet if he's banned for 10 games they will struggle at the start of next season as the rest of their midfield is weak (Dier is overrated imo).

Dier's not exactly a classic midfielder, more like a centre-back who can also play at CDM. Speaking of Spurs players, what's the probability of them losing some of their key players this summer... ... to an immediate PL title rival?

No way is Dier overrated. He is class. Protects their back four so well.
