Wes Morgan

In years to come, Big Wes could be a pundit and when he comes on screen, a little banner will appear at the bottom of the screen:

'Premier League Winning Captain'.

Dilly ding! Dilly dong! I'm pissed! Love big Wes and love em all!

Maybe now he'll get the respect he deserves

From whom? Who the hell doesn't respect him. The bloke has been immense in every way and for a long time now. In fact it's such a "given" with him it's almost overlooked.

Buzzing for Wes. He's been incredible for us this season, such a strong figure in both the defence and in the team in general.

had my doubts about him a few seasons ago if im being totally honest. but what an absolute player and captain and to play a full solid season without a summer break at the level he has - FECKIN INCREDIBLE ABSOLUTE HERO ! will go down as a club legend as will every player from this squad

Maybe he should get an England call up

So the lack of a preseason might have been good for Wes! Maybe this 2016 Copa America isn't such a bad thing for him.

Outstanding yesterday, colossal alongside Huth.

Absolutely hero and incredible leader, people might not agree but I would say he is the best centre half we've ever had at this club and that takes some beating.

One of the best performances I've seen from him I think, hence why I gave him a 10 on the post match ratings.

He certainly looks much more assured and confident playing along side Huth. Some people focus on the importance of keeping players like Vardy and Mahrez fit but I think last week highlighted just how important it will be keeping Morgan and Huth playing consistently in the team.

He's had one excellent season where he's led us to the title - That in itself is something that has raised the bar to such height that it makes the argument very interesting. This moment in time he doesn't make my top 3.

I think Matt Elliott would still be my number one choice with Walsh a close second. Elliott and Walsh did it consistently over a number of seasons and scoring that brace at Wembley V Tranmere was unbelievable. Elliott was not just an excellent defender, he was very good on the ball with exceptional technique and awareness and he'd also be good for 8 goals a season... You think Morgan's a good leader? Walsh epitomised what a leader was about, scored goals and was simply Mr Leicester.

3rd place goes to Huth - Huth is better than Morgan hands down, as simple as that. 5 years down the road it might be Huth and Morgan who are my top 2 but for now they need more time to knock Elliott and Walsh off the podium.

Thats a tough one as we have had some greats in that position ...    but he's a full international and part of the Immortals team ...    so you just may be right !

I.King, Mcklintock, Sep.Smith,Appleton, Cross, Sjoberg, Elliot, Taggart, Walsh, now title winners Huth, Morgan.

I aint even going to try and sort it out.All towers of strength..

footballing cbs,

Appleton, Cross (when younger) Mcklintock,( could play midfield), Walsh at times ,

Elliot my choice.

With all these names and top fox servants, in v the end it was Huth and Morgan who lifted

the trophy, their stubborn defensive duties and skills go down in history.Old style in this

moden era.

Couldn't really argue against him being our best ever. Elliott edges it for me and Walsh is probably my favourite ever player but Wes is a club legend in my eyes

Agree he has been good for us but he doesn't look that great without Huth next to him.

Elliott and Walsh were far better in my opinion.
