moseeds Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Incredible sight. This surreal season just hit an absurd new height.
Jace Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 At this rate Im going to end up watching this more times than I've watched Hazards goal last Monday
johnny the fox Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 It's definitely one of the craziest things I've ever seen in my life. Imagine being told that Andrea freakin' Bocelli will sing at King Power Stadium because Leicester actually won the Premier League. up there with russ abbots i like a party with an atmosphere....
Kasey Keller Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Tottenham had got Chas n' Dave lined up for their ceremony I understandHahahaha pmsl
Proolo2 Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Can somebody honestly tell me how did it "work" at the stadium? I watched it on youtube and it souned lovely, but did the fan really went quiet after claudio gesture? or was it just some clever sound mixing from Sky? Could you hear the melody from your stand? Do you think the fans enjoy it?
Rincewind Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 I said spurs had chas and dave lined up in the pub. I was right next to it but the sound was poor. The pub still had their music in the background. Even while the game was on. Everyone in there was watching it not listening to the music. I videoed part on it on my phone but can't upload it.
Legend_in_blue Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Absolutely first class, just like the whole season. Italia 90, 26 years ago. Wow. Well, in another 26 years time, they'll still be talking about it. Magical.
stevelcfc Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 From the bits I could here when Jobber wasn't hitting that ****ing drum it was incredible, goosebumps and a lump in my throat. What a crazy, crazy day. As Martin Tyler once said, "I swear you'll never see anything like this again"
tom27111 Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 His second song was awesome. Reminded me of what Will Ferrell sang at the end of Stepbrothers. Just needed Vardy on a mic shouting "boats and hoes"
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Brilliant from what could hear above a load of ****** singing Leicester chants over it
LJS Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 His second song was awesome. Reminded me of what Will Ferrell sang at the end of Stepbrothers. FFS
richpm Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 For those of you that know the FBar the telly hangs in the middle of the room. That means you could see grown men welling up at this watching it opposite you. Astonishing.
shailen Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I've never felt the power of music, but when you put a story like ours with a song like that its absolutely wonderful and it moves you. Great to see that at the KP.
StriderHiryu Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Can somebody honestly tell me how did it "work" at the stadium? I watched it on youtube and it souned lovely, but did the fan really went quiet after claudio gesture? or was it just some clever sound mixing from Sky? Could you hear the melody from your stand? Do you think the fans enjoy it? The fans didn't go quiet when Bocelli first started singing, but after about a minute in more respect was given. To be fair, half the city had been on the razz since 10AM so perhaps this wasn't unexpected. However, when Bocelli reached the crescendo for the World Cup '90 song... the hairs on my neck stood up. Absolutely incredible!!! It really hit me then, the enormity of what the club had just done! For the second song, the Everton fans sang through the early part of it, although for this one it seemed for the most part the home fans kept with it. Overall I thought it was awesome! I'd go as far as saying it was the perfect way to end an incredible story and season. And the fact that the guys played so well afterwards... Can we have Bocelli again when we win the Champions League next year please!?
Ozwin Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I just bawlled like an absolute fanatic watching the whole video on Sky Sports. About as powerful as it gets.
psychonaut Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Cried. Probably one of the most perfect moments in my life. It all just seems almost... planned. Divinely planned. Its just too much. ** 5 hours on the piss didnt help matters heady mix of booze and emotion.
VLC86 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Not going to lie I was a bit drunk at this point and really didn't have a clue what was happening for a good minute fantastic stuff though.
volpeazzurro Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I think in fairness to most fans, the decibel level if you were half way up was so loud that you couldn't hear the microphone and when the song started. Most fans then gave the great man the respect he deserved. He was fantastic!
Finn Claw II Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Second song was time to say goodbye. Only watching on TV and I bawled my eyes out
