Chilwell

Has Chiiwell ever said that he wants out or is this all just supposition ? Thankfully most players don't take this shite seriously cos if he didn't want out before he would after reading all of this crap.

Won't be a major loss if he goes at all. IF he turns out to be a future England left back whilst not being with us then it still don't affect us & we would of moved on. If he wants to go then show him the door if not then fair play to the lad.

Wouldn't pretend to know him, but from what i've heard of him and seen of him before any mention with the 1st team, he seemed like a very grounded proffesional. The opposite of what I believe Jack Grealish to be.

I think he wants the best possible future and I think that would be staying at Leicester, especially now. Perhaps his agent is pushing him, or his 'people' know the money in the Prem for potential English talent is high, and we have traditionally not paid our youth a gread deal in comparison to what Liverpool or Arsenal would pay, in the prospect. Personally being the champions of England and having Champions League football, Chilwell is going to get games, and get cup games, I like him and he looks very solid to me. I'd sign him up to a long contract.

In short I think he wants to be adequately paid for his 'potential' and small contributions, which is reasonable considering what some clubs pay for 'potential'.

A lot of reading between the lines I think.

And no one has said much in here (that I've seen) that's too harsh. If he's offended by it, maybe he should go and read what was said about some of the players we had when we were shit.

I heard a "rumour" that after he'd played in the cup he went into the kit lady (who's been here since filbert street), asked for a first team kit, only to be told "you're not a first team regular yet", he then proceeded to give her some abuse...

As I say, I heard this at the awards doo but can't confirm it to be true.

Half true, wasn't the long standing kit lady though.

Character assassination at its finest.

I've only seen Chilwell play 90 minutes of football. Yet still, in this forum he's a LCFC hating megalomaniac, ready to draw blood for Arsenal, as opposed to some teenager who could possibly be decent at left back. Christ.

I don't think anyone's said that at all.

It's obviously exaggeration for affect. But seriously, there's a lot of simmering vitriol for some teenager with an ego.

I'd be very sorry to see him leave if that's the way it pans out.

In his few outings he has looked a gem of a player with time and quality on the ball.

I always think it sad when supporters of a team that has honed a talent don't get to see them play for reasonable length of time.

I would imagine he would get quite a bit of game time next season and he's a twisted ankle away from playing Champions League!

With Ranieri's talent for coaching a back four it would also make sense for him to hone his skills with us.

To be honest not sure what the fuss is. He got ripped a new one in the cup against spurs. We got fuchs for 2 more years who is far better. If he leaves so what. He is replaceable where as some of the squad are not

Iorfa is the better talent imo, Chilwell would benefit next season from a loan in the champ where he can play regularly.

He's looking pretty rusty so far, to be expected I guess.
